“I have been going here as my primary market weekly for a year and a half. The owner is a very good and friendly fellow. For a small "supermarket" they really have a good selection of meats, fresh vegetables, fruit, baked goods, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I really like there selection and prices. The are more competitive in prices than the big market in Hillsboro. As to the winey complainers, go elsewhere. I don't want to deal with unhappy people and this is a nice market staffed by happy nice people! P.S., To the COVID Whiner from Warner. Stay in Warner, with the rest of the progressive idiot "Whiners from Warners". We don't need you in our town.”
“I'm new to NH and this was my first time shopping at Market Basket. I have never seen such a huge variety of foods under one roof. In every aisle I discovered something new to try. I love this store and it will definitely be my main source for grocery shopping!”
“Always friendly and good food. A normal stop for me coming home from work looking for food. The chicken tender wrap is great as well with their fries, tenders, onion rings, pizza, macaroni salad. Subs are filled, though careful if you get tomatoes. They do diced instead of sliced, so they fall out.”
“Best breakfast of our entire trip. We had a sausage egg cheese on a toasted english muffin, french toast with sausage links, loaded scrambled eggs, and coffee. All was hot, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Relaxed no-fuss country atmosphere with nice locals. Service was quick and friendly.”
“Compared to franchise supermarkets, it's rather small and tight on space. But, you can find all sorts of products and basic groceries. This supermarket has a pharmacy, meat ? department, sandwich ? shoppe, lottery ticket booth, self checkout and two styles of shopping ? carriages.I didn't notice Baby Yoda/Grogu, so you can't have everything. Limited hours for the sandwich shoppe, which serves a vegetarian sandwich.I thought ? the prices were a little high. Other than bakery items, there were no prepared foods to go.Service was friendly.”
“The changes that this store, under new management, have made over the last 12-18 months are amazing. This is now a full-service mini-grocer (reminds me of the bodegas in NYC) with a HUGE beer cooler and all essential grocery items. The best part though is the people. Its obvious that they have put blood and sweat into this remodel and they are kind, courteous, and welcoming. My only suggestion to them is to play some music in the store. Its too....quiet? Good people, prices are not high, and they are really revitalizing this market. Well done!!!!”

455 S Stark Hwy, Weare“If I was to review this store a year ago would have been a 1-2 but I been repeatedly coming back shopping here for well over a year now, seems to be under new management now from before and just overall the whole shopping experience is better! Products are always in stock now! The store isn’t a mess anymore nor closed midday like it constantly was! The new management really brought the store back from the grave! The employees are always so helpful and friendly and make my shopping experience so easy!”
“I think all the Dollar Stores are "special" like a concentrated level of Wal Mart. There is a distinct smell every where, this is a cramp location and some of the racks up front are not the easiest to get around or get past. The staff that works here is hit and miss kind of like every other business in Hillsborough, there are some very nice attentive people and there are some people that work here that just want you to get out as soon as possible.”
“Fantastic staff excellent pharmacist. Exceptionally speedy at transfers if they do not have the medication. Or cannot obtain it from their supplier extremely handy as a local resident of Hopkinton New Hampshire. It is not a compounding pharmacy. But most likely you can get what you need. If not, they are happy to send your prescription to where it can be obtained. But when you were sick and disabled, it is a task to get to Concord. They accept state insurance.. Which means they are getting the absolute bottom dollar but they still participate, for low income individuals. Richard Cohen and Mel Myler, fought for legislation for the department of Health and Human Services to update the medication prices every 15 days versus Every 9 months. Which meant our local pharmacies were losing money. Versus the larger Walmart type companies so please know we are very privileged to keep our small local pharmacies. Thank you all for the wonderful job that you do. They are very courteous, private, and make sure that what you’re taking is compatible with all your other medication’s. The process is smooth and easy, and you are always treated with a great respect. If you were unable to travel yourself, you can also have a friend to pick it up for you. So many benefits we take for granted. It is not that easy in other pharmacies. Thank you Colonial Village, Pharmacy for all your hard work. Thank you for looking after our small town and the most vulnerable have somewhere to go that’s safe and close to home.”

276 W Main St, Hillsboro“Shaws prices are outrageous. I would like to know where they got all the money to redo the store and how much it cost on renovations, the temperature of the store is like being in Alaska, that much cost a lot. Have to wear a jacket. The people that work there are very rude. Everything you go there there are different people on the registers.”
“The employees here are always beyond nice. We went in today and it was very busy but the employees working the front desk were extremely apologetic for the wait. There were people being nasty in line but these workers were doing everything they could while being extremely cheerful.”
