Steve creates beautiful handcrafted furniture. He and his wife, Cheryl, helped us design a perfect cherry dining set. We are very pleased with the beauty and craftsmanship. It looks wonderful in our contemporary home. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with Steve and Cheryl.

I have several pieces from Shaker Style and they are beautiful and timeless. The customer service is excellent, as well. When I needed replacement knobs and emailed a request 10 years after purchase, they were on my doorstep within days.
Originated in 1989, Stephen C Barlow is a third-generation New England woodworker who takes pride in carrying on the tradition of excellence passed down to him. His wife, Cheryl, joined him in 1997. She has worked in customer service all her life and puts her talents to work here as co-owner. "I have been interested in woodworking since I was a boy and learn to appreciate the beauty of natural wood by spending time with my grandfather in his shop. It is part of who I am; I knew at a very young age that this is what I was meant to do. I love what I do and take pride in my craft.
