I love the Nugget, and have been watching movies there for 40 years! But lately I am disappointed in the scheduled show times. Not a single film starts after 7 pm, making it challenging to go to evening movies without rearranging one’s entire day around the schedule. I guess I can understand why they canceled 9 pm showings (my favorite), but 610 and 650 are just too early. I went to a 410 movie on Sunday afternoon recently and we were the only ones there, so I’m not sure who prefers this schedule. How about a 730 or 8pm show?

Rude older male employee was verbally abusive to younger female employees while we waited for our movie time. He also LIED to us about a major glitch at the end of our movie (colors inverted) by telling us he called a guy who told him that was how the movie was supposed to be! Found out later that it was NOT how the movie was supposed to look at the end.

Very aggressive and rude man at the register treated us very badly. He didn't see that we were about to throw empty stuff to the garbage can

Calm, clean, quiet. Screen isn't huge, but none are these days. Seats are nicely arranged so that there is an unobstructed view of the screen.

Very sad to hear. These comments about the rude person are about Dale. Unfortunately he came to the Nugget from entertainment cinema in Lebanon, where there were multiple complaints about his hostile/rude behavior. I don’t understand why the Nugget hired him! On the flip side, entertainment cinema has improved dramatically in his absence, and people are returning there now.

The Miracle Club was an excellent flick and this community theater is a great place. Have visited here for decades!!!

Very aggressive and rude older short male employee at the register wanted me and my friend to leave our bags/purse on the floor in the corner of the lobby. Both of us had our laptops and other valuable electronics in our bags, but he said there's a $10,000 fine for bringing in a laptop to the theatre, so we asked if we could put them behind the counter. The man yelled at us in a totally disrespectful and inappropriate way. The man proceeded to say to my face that I was very rude and later confronted my friend when he was trying to enter the theatre. As a upperclassman Dartmouth student I love Hanover. Unfortunately, this is the only place in Hanover that I have ever had a negative customer service experience.Additionally, the seats are very uncomfortable and the theatre is incredibly cramped. There is no way to reserve specific seats so there is no guarantee your party can sit together.Do not spend your money here. It's a waste of money and will leave you feeling frustrated and disrespected.Go to Entertainment Cinemas in West Lebanon instead! The prices are the same and the chairs are much larger and recline. Also the employees there are not disrespectful like they are at The Nugget.

Small waiting area, ripe for superspreader event. Poor ticket office with confusing signage. Undersized screen and poor sound system. Rude staff. Audible noise from vacuuming adjacent theater when the movie was still showing. Staff in and out the back door during showing. Unlikely I will return to this theater.

Great local movie theater, small and quaint. Not the most comfortable seats and not the largest screens either. The great thing is there was no line and plenty of seats when I went to see a movie that just came out. If and when I find myself in this area again, I'll definitely will watch a movie here.

Very rude male employee at the front yelled at me for having bubble tea. While I was finishing my bubble tea, he was also rude to the two young female employees. Skipping this place next time.

Update: Revisited to help them out after just reopening. They have a great Jurassic Park popcorn deal going on. Workers were pleasant and talkative. I hope they make it, as it is another option and closer, albeit smaller choice for some of us. Thank you for reading.Just another movie theatre...nothing special. Overpriced as usual and yet they still charge a dollar for popcorn refills. Air conditioning gives a nice break from the humid weather though.

This place is actually very cute and quiet the seats were a little small but maybe that's just my sign of having to lose weight LOL overall it was a really fun experience the people are extremely nice and we had a good time.

Hanover’s own little theater for all your mainstream movies. It’s not fancy, but it’s homely. For fancier screens and a more offbeat selection, you can try the various Dartmouth theaters like the one at the Hop. But in town, and for stuff like a superhero movie, Nugget is a great community movie watching experience.

Such a cute theater with a small town feel. Seats were relatively comfortable, snacks were good. Only complaint was the movie had a few glitches and screen is on the smaller side.
