Attentive and friendly service. Customer service above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this BofA branch

It is important to remember that whenever someone leaves a review it is usually because they had a bad experience. However, In my case this was the easiest trip to a bank that I have ever done. They were very polite and treated me with respect. Samuel was very professional and answered all of my questions.I was in and out of there within 20 min to setup and deposit into a new checking account. Easy 5 stars.

Don't waste your time unless you are a customer. They will happily patronize you and lie to your face. How hopeless one must feel when the bank the check is drawn on will not cash it......"because you are not a customer of ours"

Seriously a cluster - the locks on their safe deposit boxes jam - apparently as a rule - so you make an appointment time, go there and wait while they confirm your lock is jammed and has to be drilled (which they freely admit is a likely outcome). You’d think it would then be like getting locked out of your car and you would wait while they figured it out but actually what they then do is tell you they need to contact a preferred vendor to come and drill the lock and that you need to commit to come back another time when the driller can be scheduled -which takes them days to coordinate and weeks to execute. I assume they don’t tell new customers that the boxes don’t work but as a public service - I would assume that ledyard across the street has newer boxes - and banking services too actually - save yourself the hassle if you don’t need a national bank. And if you do have a safe deposit box there I would recommend clearing it out before you actually need to get access - because it could take a while - even if the key works - mine did a year ago - I think all the locks are failing.

Absolutely the worst bank. Avoid at all costs. 1. There app is always broken. 2. There online banking never works. 3. They always have issues accomadating people. 4. They only care about opening new accounts, vs retaing there current members. I came to do a wire for my clpsing on my house, and was in front of a person who wants to open a bank account. And they took them before me.

I don't blame the staff working there, because it's really a problem with the Bank of America corporation trying to cut corners and pinch pennies.Over 5 years and probably 10-15 visits, my experience is almost always the same. A "greeter" person (totally useless role) asks me if I need to make an appointment or see a teller.I'm not sure if they still do it, but a few times I needed to make an appointment. In that case, the greeter would direct me to a touchscreen computer to make an appointment. Since I a simple sign would accomplish the duties of the greeter, how about reassigning this person to teller?Speaking of tellers, most of the times, I've needed to see a teller, so I get in line. There is always a line, usually of 3-5 people. That means a 30 minute wait.On the rare occasions that there is more than one teller, the extra teller is "off duty" or doing some special task so just makes you feel more frustrated. The "on duty" teller is usually very inexperienced. There will typically be a few customers ahead with some situation that is a total curveball to the teller, such as an unusual form of ID, or the customer wants cash in only 2 dollar bills, etc. These curveball situations will take an excruciatingly long time to solve, and require a manager type person to come over (after a long delay and only very slowly) and solve the problem. The manager and other staff who deal with appointments are often not occupied with a customer, so just walk around or sit at their desk doing nothing. It seems like they could pitch in when they see a line for the teller stuck, but they either don't care or are not permitted to help. This happens so consistently that I feel it must be a corporate scheme to make customers never want to come into the bank again and just use the online services. It would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating.

Fast and friendly service with a great locationEasy to access for Vermonters because it is only a few minutes from the border. They do change a fee for check cashing if you are not an account holder but that is pretty standard these days.Make sure to bring valid ID and they will treat you well.I arrived minutes before closing and they promptly cashed a check for $5,000. The tellers are happy and the managers are quick to help them out with overrides.I've been going to this location for years now and I'm always happy with the quick turnaround. There are great local restaurants in walking distance also.Parking is easy to find and free for customers.

So I'm really frustrated I had to drive 40 minutes because it's the closest bank of America to me to deposit cash into my girlfriend's account because we needed to pay some bills and because I'm not on her account I can't deposit cash into account so now we're going to get hit with a bunch of late fees so not only did I spend 30 bucks on fuel and 40 minutes out of my time and now I have to drive 40 minutes back I am now just completely frustrated and flustered and quite honestly don't know what to do so I write this review to let everybody know you must really have your teas and dots crossed before you come here because if you don't you're wasting your time

impossible to contact with out going through the automated system and perma-hold. Even for a simple question for the local bank becomes an ordeal! This is not customer service it is customer abuse.

This entire corporation is useless. If you have any issues with this branch you're out of luck unless you can physically go there. No phone number listed and if you call corporate they're of no use because they don't even have a phone number for this branch. I use BOA for a business account, but Citizens is about to get a new client.
