A friend of mine who has dealt with Hampton Ford for many years suggested that I deal with Jimmy Dexter at the Wholesale outlet that Hampton Ford/Hyundai owns next door to the Ford store. “Andrew is an incredible guy. He went above and beyond to help me with my 1999 Audi A4. Having an old European car, I am used to having lots of surprise issues when I'm on the road away from my home mechanic. I live in NYC but am frequently traveling to the north shore of Massachusetts.I came in to State Automotive because my rear suspension was making some squeaks and I wanted to repair it if possible. During the inspection, which was incredibly thorough and documented VERY well, they found a control arm issue which was critical for safety. The squeak issue is actually not a safety issue and I would need to find the part from a third party as it isn't made anymore and getting it pulled at a scrap yard is not a good idea. Andrew couldn't find the part anywhere and I learned this is a common issue on these older Audi cars. The repair to the control arm was done quickly and at a very good price - especially considering the extra consideration Andrew gave to the issue. He gave me a lot of helpful information on how to address additional issues (or not) and was honest about the Car's prognosis. Lastly- worth mentioning that Andrew and his team provide fantastic documentation: a breakdown of all the car issues, photos of the key problems, and a print out for the missing parts needed to repair.If I keep the car and it need more service while I'm in MA, Andrew and his team will be my first stop. Highly recommended.”

“Where else can you go for a non pushy purchase with a variety of cars with low mileage and on site inspection? This is your place. In today’s economy it’s very stressful finding a reputable used car- they offer a solution. Yes they are rebuilt titles but they fix the cars in a quality manner and offer a thirty day warranty. I was recommended to buy here by close family friends and recently bought two cars which we are very happy with. We had a very small issue with one of the cars after the purchase which the owner happily took care of immediately and was professional and apologetic. We would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone and will buy more cars going forward. Thank you!”
“My wife has been using this dealership for vehicle inspections. She could go to vip and get it free being military but the service department is above and beyond excellent. My wife has been taking her vehicle there for 3 yrs and she always tells me how nice they treat her and respectful. So I will go there. Also they are respectful to her vehicle which is important being a clean freak. I can not comment on sales but as far as service department, she praises them. I have been there once last year and the service guy was extremely polite.”
