The Springhill Suites on Exeter Rd is our go to. Quite clean, and a staff that seems really dedicated to a great guest experience. If there is an issue, they resolve it if they know about it. This is from firsthand experience.
Breakfast service is excellent. The whole hotel has everything we like and I recommend it for anyone who is ok paying more and getting more.
We stayed May 16-19 2024 and were very satisfied with the facility and our 2 queen room.

Our double Queen suite was nice. It was updated and clean everything was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good. The 2 people working were very on top of keeping everything cleaned up and fresh food out. It does have an indoor pool, but it is very small. Overall was a nice place for a stay. The location is just a little odd because it's right off the highway. It is convenient to most of the places you're trying to get though and only a few minutes from the beach.

This hotel is conveniently located off the interstate and within driving distance to Portsmouth. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well appointed. The hotel is within driving distance to restaurants and stores, and the breakfast offered has a nice variety so that everyone should be able to find something they like. However, the best part of this hotel is the staff. From the front desk, to housekeeping and the kitchen team, all were professional and helpful. Great recommendations for dining on and off the hotel list of recommended restaurants, and ideas for a tourist visiting the nearby Portsmouth area for a first time. Overall, a reasonable cost for an excellent stay.

Best SpringHill suites we stayed in on a 6 hotel, 8 day family trip. Ladies at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. Wish we had more time there. Everything was clean and well kept.

Great clean, not outta the way comfortable, pleasing atmosphere. Breakfast, small pool, and 24 hr exercise room. My room was perfect, loved the set- up. I will enjoy another stay.

This hotel looked fairly new. We was traveling back home and needed a room for the night, We checked in at 11:30pm. The entrance is locked, but there is a phone to contact the front desk for entrance ( you can see the desk from the entryway) The desk clerk was friendly and had us checked in, and to our room within 5 min. Our room (405) was a King suite, it was more than enough room for 2 people. They do have a breakfast there from 6:30 to 10:00. The only drawback was the location. It can be a little tricky if you're not familiar with the area.

My wife & I stayed there for 3 days to celebrate her birthday. I choose this location because unlike the listing in Downtown Portsmouth there was no parking charge. The room was nice clean & cozy. The room for the size was well organized; only thing not a ton of closet space. The free daily breakfast was great. The pool was also nice but small so any more than 3-4 adults is tight. But overall I would absolutely recommend this suites for a stay
Nearby activities: It's a 5 minute drive from Layfette Ave which has everything restaurants, fast food, shopping(clothes & food) and necessities like CVS & Walgreens. And your 15 minutes from Downtown Portsmouth it's a nice drive down Layfette Ave during the day or you can hop on the highway at night and save a few minutes.
Walkability: Not in any walking distance except for CR restaurant across the street
Food & drinks: The breakfast was a decent variety for the 3 days there they always had eggs, bagel, toast, cereal, yogurt & waffles. And either bacon or sausage.

We spent a night here while on the way to Maine. The hotel is very easy to get to as it’s not very far from the highway. Plenty of parking available. The hotel lobby is clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It only took a few minutes to get checked in. The room was very clean and quiet. We didn’t hear any noise from the outside or from other guests. There’s food available as well as restaurants nearby.

Was the best hotel I stayed at. Everything was cleaned and staff was nice. But breakfast wasn’t the best considering I found mold on the sliced bread they provided. Instead of the kitchen throwing away the entire bread they took off the moldy one and called it good. That’s the reason for the 3 star..

My grandkids and I stayed here. This is our last night here, and we loved it. There isn’t anything bad to say. The room looks just like the pictures, very modern and clean. The lobby is nice & clean, elevator, hallways, etc. We got to enjoy the small pool. The pool isn’t that big so keep in my mind it’s winter, so it gets crowded. Kids enjoyed it. We will check out breakfast that they offer free of charge tomorrow morning. Will definitely stay again.
