Josh and his team work with everyone on their specific goals and meet everyone at their fitness level. The positive community atmosphere keeps me coming back, and looking forward to my workouts. Truly a place for all ages and abilities. Can’t reccomend this gym highly enough!”

They keep themselves very up-to-date and this clearly benefits the customer. I find their studio a special place to re-energize and get new information and ideas about health and wellbeing. “Parking is tough. Showers and lockers are normally good but prohibited now due to COVID-19. Friendly staff. One of each weight machine and several cardio machines. People are good about wiping down equipment. There are various TV channels that are not adjustable from treadmills, but there are audio ports for listening.”

“My son spent the summer training at T1, and the results are truly amazing. His athleticism has skyrocketed due to the attention to detail Lindsey and Tyler put into their youth training program. Instead of traveling all over the country to play summer hockey we opted to stay local and train, and it was the best decision we could have made. They made the sessions fun for the group to peak the interest, and the results speak for themselves. I can't say enough about T1 we will continue to bring him all season long.”

“joined for a week while on vacation. staff super helpful(Paul, Bill). Was limited in what I could use due to a previous injury but plenty of selection in cardio equipment and weights. Overall not a large space for a gym(store in large strip mall) but they have all you'd need. locker rooms also on small side but don't seem widely used. area where weights are located can get crowded with 4-5 people using but others respect your space. Very clean and well kept all equipment was functioning and maintained. Members seem to be diverse age-wise from college aged to seniors. recommend highly”

“This is my favorite place in Portsmouth to work out. The space is spectacular - there was no expense spared to outfit this place, with three separate studios (one for cycle and two multi-purpose), tons of equipment, really nice shower / restroom facilities, and a common area complete with smoothie bar - all aesthetically pleasing with lots of exposed brick from the building they're housed in. (Bonus - order a smoothie before your workout and it's ready to pickup when you're done). There's a ton of variety to the classes - while cycle is perhaps the star, there's lots of other classes to choose from. The instructors always bring it - high intensity, great soundtracks and super supportive. And Mindy the owner imbues the place with a super-supportive yet take-no-prisoners vibe where everyone there is seen wherever they are in their mental and physical health journey. The age range skews younger but even as a mature (ahem) adult, this place feels like home to me.”

“I’ve been going to Body Barre three times a week for fifteen months, and I’m so glad I found it. The owner, Kristen, and her instructors are all friendly and kind. They make class fun yet challenging. Our classes are made up of all ages but the work out you get is your full body, and very effective. I go to classes taught by all the different teachers and I love them all. The studio is clean and bright, and I love using the MINDBODY app to pay, and my body has really gained strength, tone, flexibility, greater range of motion and agility. Class sizes are small and teachers make sure we are in the correct positions and alignment to prevent injury and get the most effective excercise. Thanks, Kristen, for such a wonderful community and fantastic excercise place. I’m someone who could never punch myself the way I do at class, but couldn’t find a class I loved until now.”

“Moved out of the area at the start of the pandemic, but worked out at gain for about a year prior to that. One of the best gyms I've been at and I really miss them. Justin Taylor and Alex paid a ton of attention to each individual despite there only being 3 of them. I was doing jiu jitsu and soccer outside of the gym yet my training here made me feel better in those activities than without it. Really good balance of strength, cardio, and flexibility without overdoing it and focus on technique, avoiding injuries, and staying consistent. Plus a lot of nice people”
