I absolutely love this shop! In fact they have two locations! My 13 year old daughter and I had a great time browsing, she loves vintage jewelry and I found some amazing mid century décor for my home. They seem to have something for every taste in antique and vintage, and the owner and staff are very knowledgeable and were helpful and pleasant in answering my questions. We will definitely be back!

If I could post a negative star I would. My mother and I stopped into this shop today on our way to the beach along with my 8 year old son. As we entered the store we were greeted by the woman working. Upon saying hello I immediately took the cell phone my son had in his hand and turned the volume down to a barely audible level and instructed him not to touch any items. We walked into the next room, looked at a couple items, an older gentleman who was also shopping politely said hello to my son and three of us briefly discussed a couple of objects that my son pointed out. Within minutes, the woman working the store came in behind us and asked that my son turn the sound down on the phone because it was distracting. Mind you the radio playing in the store was actually louder than the phone that I had already turned the volume down on. To say I was taken back is an under statement as was my mother. I did take the phone from my son and tell him he could not have it in the store but being a typical child and one who also has a disability he was upset with this and felt he was being punished. Rather than cause a scene I handed the phone back to him, told him he did nothing wrong and we just were leaving the store. As we left the woman tried to say she wasn’t trying to be rude to which I replied that’s fine and we walked out. However once out the door she followed us. I simply turned to her and stated that his phones volume had already been turned down and there was only one other person in the store besides us and that man was actually conversing with my son so clearly there was no distraction by us. The more obvious fact was that she did not want a child in the store to begin with. At that point she argued with me as I held up my hand and told her I will gladly take my money elsewhere.I was born and raised in the antique business and learned very early on the rules of look but don’t touch which I have passed on to my son. Regardless of who you are, what your age, ability or financial status is, the antique business is nothing without a client to teach the history and value of older objects to. Clearly this shop isn’t interested in future business from growing youth. And I sure as hell am not interested in supporting a place with an employee who treats anyone the way she did***********UPDATE ***********A note on the owners response to this review,If only I had taken that cell phone and videotaped the incident, especially the occurrence in the parking lot to have proof of the incredible lies she is writing in her response. Not at all surprised and not at all interested in getting in a pissing match. Just very happy to take my money elsewhere!

I have been shopping at East Coast Props and Antiques since they first opened their shops. I always find your staff to be friendly and helpful and there is always something new that I just need to have. Great variety and very fair prices!

Review date; 7-23-2022Saturday 5:15 PM door wide open. Never been here before. Walked in and me and behind counter just bluntly said; we’re closed! Nothing welcoming, nothing about hope to see you another time.Hey!! How about buying a huge CLOSED Sign - And putting it out front, for people like me who went through all sorts of traffic maneuvers to turn around and come back only to waste my time??! ?
