“We couldn’t be more pleased with the professionalism at Lafayette Animal Hospital. From our first call to schedule an appointment they did the legwork of calling our last 3 vet officers to get our dogs records. Our first visit with Dr. Abbott she was both thorough and compassionate. She explained everything and presented us with her plan for our allergy pup as well as going over the cost prior to charging us for anything. Follow up was equally as great with daily checks. Blue was definitely BLUE prior to his visit but after having his brother Chunk with him for moral support and sneaking kisses to the ladies he was immediately much more comfortable. So pleased with the care we’re receiving. Thank you Dr. Abbott for taking such good care of our big “puppy”. Recheck in 3 weeks and our packs looking forward to it!”
“Every time our puppy has had an appt everyone has been very nice. Our 11mo old puppy swallowed a sock yesterday and they had us bring him right in and took him in immediately and were so nice and kept us informed of what they were going to do. We were luckily in and out in less than half an hour and the fee was very reasonable.”

“We have been going to Greenland Vet Hospital since we moved to the area two years ago. We have a LOT of animals including a senior car, two senior dogs, a young dog, a tortoise, rats, a bearded dragon and more. Not only is Greenland Vet great for dogs and cats but they are spectacular at caring for our small exotic pets as well. It is such a relief to have all of our animals cared for at the same place.

“We have trusted Dr. Tumkur Narasimhan and his team at the Animal Health Center of Salisbury since as far back as 2006 with our two older Labrador retrievers. From the very beginning, Dr. Tumkur’s compassion, knowledge, and ability to explain everything in detail gave us complete confidence in his care. He helped our dogs through a variety of health issues over the years, including cancer, chronic ear infections, and other serious medical conditions, always with thorough explanations and genuine concern for their well-being. The staff has always been professional, caring, and dedicated, making every visit a positive experience.
Now, almost 20 years later, we are back with our three year old Labrador retriever, and the care is every bit as good as it was before. After spending over a year and thousands of dollars at another veterinary clinic trying unsuccessfully to resolve a recurring ear infection, we learned that the Animal Health Center was never closing, as we had mistakenly been told. Out of frustration and desperation, we called Dr. Tumkur again, and we are so glad we did. At this appointment, he immediately identified and resolved the issue that the other vet could not.
The care, expertise, and personal attention that Dr. Tumkur and his staff provide remain as exceptional as ever. It feels good to be back with a veterinarian we can truly trust.
