Please do not send your children to this school. The Principle only thinks of the school as a business, the Pre-K/Kindergarten class has excluded our 3 year old from lessons, and after a second COVID positive child at this school was announced, the Principle went on vacation on the 17th and 18th without responding to emails or phone calls. 1/17/21 and 1/18/21 were school days that we paid the school for. The Principles response to this is "I do not apologize for this". We are pulling our child from this school immediately and are contacting the Board of Education.

Our Pre-K/K and 2nd grader started Hampstead Academy this year. As you all know, schooling has been a challenge in 2020...after learning of our towns remote plan and knew it would not work for us, we found Hampstead Academy and honestly we couldn’t be happier. This safe, welcoming, warm and academically challenging school has been the perfect fit for both of our children. Our 5 year old could barely count to 10 when he started and in 2 weeks he was counting to 35 in English and to 10 in Spanish! The Art, Music, P.E. and Spanish programs are excellent. The individual learning style benefits every child. These kids have flourished in such a short amount of time. Thank you Hampstead Academy for your wonderful teachers, staff and families. 2020 has brought a lot of uncertainty, but it also brought us to Hampstead Academy and for that we are so grateful! Highly recommended (to say the least)!

Wonderful school, wonderful staff. My daughter has been going the for 2 years, and her advancement is off the charts. With 6 kids per teacher, the students get all the attention they need. I highly recommend Hampstead Academy and look forward to my daughter going there for years to come.

My daughter started going to HA since kindergarten, she's in 2nd grade now. I love the small class sizes, the flexible learning spaces, a truly personalized teaching (which can happen only in small size), the STEAM philosophy, very dedicated and caring teachers, how teachers collaborate so that there's cohesion and continuity in what kids are learning in different subjects/classes, an excellent place for kids to learn self-confidence and leadership. We are looking forward to the school getting bigger, for other families to discover this gem and give their kids a chance at great education.

My daughter has been attending HA for over a year. I can’t even put into words how happy we are for this school. The confidence it has given my child through friendships she’s built and education surpasses what I expected. If you are looking for more then a school, if your looking for a positive community to surround, educate & encourage your child then this is the right school. Take a tour & I know you won’t be disappointed!

My daughter was a student here from 1st grade through 7th grade. The school was run into the ground by the former owner; Lyn Kutzelman. She only wanted free help and not consulting support from all the people that were in her presence as parents. Due to the sale of the school and the lack of interest for 8th grade the upper school was closed. We moved our daughter to Windham Middle School and if it was not for a full-time tutor she would have failed math. This was actually "taught" by Lyn's daughter and another instructor within HA. Core concepts were never taught but lots of photocopies of old textbooks were used as teaching materials and homework. This would explain why people used outside math teachers while their children were enrolled. In 1st grade we had 29 students and by 7th grade we had less than 10 and of the 10 only 5 were from the 1st grade class. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they did with the level of education being so low that back to basics was required to survive in another schools system. Keep in mind my daughter achieved high grades at HA and even made Honor Roll and High Honors. Yet, outside of here she was failing. Waste of 7 years of education and money. A NH teacher of the year has left as well so they could even keep a few of the gems that they had on staff.

We love HA for our daughter. She’s in first grade; was also there for kindergarten. The class size is small so that each child truly gets an individualized education. I love the fact that art is also recognized as part of the education of the whole child (they have STEAM program). The ownership changed this school year, and we love the vision for the school, and the changes that have been made so far. We are excited for the coming years.
