Absolutely amazing service! Shannon was beyond sweet, patient, helpful, quick, careful and precise and we received the best haircut for our son. She was able to help him overcome his sensory aversion to haircuts and keep him happy and calm the entire time! She worked with our son when he would wiggle or move and offered so many things to keep him engaged and entertained and happy. I cannot express more how amazing she is and what a phenomenal person and hair dresser she is. Absolute best service ever and we have found a new place to go all the time for haircuts. If you’re looking for a great haircut for adults or kids and worried about if your child may be scared of hair cuts, this is where you need to be! My son who is terrified of haircuts was calm and happy and had so much fun! Number one place I’ll always recommend. Hands down the best place you can ever find for such great cuts and kindness.

if i could give this salon 0 stars i would. despite the salon owner being very responsive i got a weird vibe from the beginning. i messaged her the first time at night and wasn't expecting to hear back right away, she messaged me back in the morning apologizing for not answering me claiming she got into a car accident. i was apologetic to her situation, although it felt odd that she brought it up at all considering she responded in a timely manor anyway. we scheduled my sons first cut for that sunday. that weekend she messages me letting me know she was "vomiting all night long" and couldn't make it to my sons appointment, right when we were leaving to go there. a little tmi but whatever fine let's reschedule because i gave her the benefit of the doubt. so we scheduled for the following sunday. she confirms my appointment that weekend and then almost immediately afterward tells me she has to cancel it over a family emergency. at this point i was ready to find another place to do it and i think she could tell because she offered his cut for free. the appointment is now in 2 hours and i haven't heard a thing from her in a week, every other appointment was confirmed day of or a day before. after reading these reviews, which i didn't look at before because i had been recommended this salon, i have just decided to block her number and try somewhere else. very strange behavior and if she's cancelling so many appointments i truly don't understand how she's still in business. just don't waste your time here, my son was supposed to get a haircut a month ago now and it's just really frustrating that i was so trusting of this woman and it was obviously all lies!

If you’re planning to take a day off and bring your child do that, this woman doesn’t have responsibility she cancel appointments at last minute always with some emergency excuses, I was a little suspicious after read some bad comments here but she did the same with me, so don’t lose your time!

The first appointment we made she canceled when we arrived and had texted her she said she was sick and had to reschedule, we understood and rescheduled the following week. The next appointment was great and I really liked the haircut she gave my son, which is why I gave her the extra star, we tried to book another appointment and the morning of texted that she was at the emergency vet all night, like other comments unfortunately I just don’t believe her. It’s really too bad she’s so unreliable because she actually does great work.

I enjoyed my service at full blown hair design. I highly recommend it! Shannon is not only super accommodating but very professional. The salon is super clean and neat. If you have little ones this is a perfect salon for your children as they have a little kid side. I got to enjoy a delivery from a local food shop while getting my hair done. My extensions came out amazing, not only did she blend the color perfectly but I love the style. It’s definitely worth the 40 minute drive for me! If you are more of a person who loves 1 on 1 service this is definitely the place! I will for sure be back for any services!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I read through all the reviews and figured I would give her a chance as some reviews state she does great work. I drove over 30 minutes there only to arrive to doors locked and lights shut off. I texted Shannon who texted back right away that she was at a wake and forgot about our appointment. If this is true, i am sorry for your loss. However I am questioning if this is even true based off others stating she is consistently late, has to reschedule for whatever reason, and mixes up her excuses. She offered to give us 50% off however driving over an hour there and back is not worth $14.00.I was looking forward to this appointment for my child however it seems like there is a pattern here. I would not recommend.

We have not been able to find a salon to fit my youngest sons needs until today. I’m so impressed with Shannon. This is the first time my son did not cry getting his hair cut. We will not be going anywhere else! My oldest started going to the barber with his father and he hated it because they shaved all his hair off and couldn’t do what he wanted. Shannon is perfect and listens to your needs & kid’s needs/wants. Both my children are so happy and I can’t thank her enough! 10/10 would recommend :)

Sharon was all over the place and not in a good way. Kept ensuring me she understood how to handle children with special needs, and yet kept switching appointment times despite me explaining how important keeping my 3 year old’s routine is for him. On top of changing our appointment time 3 times the day of the session (I told her it was fine to reschedule) she insisted she would be there before our cut off time at 12:30. She didn’t arrive until 12:45 and immediately confused me with another one of her clients.She was frazzled, unorganized and seemed to be acting erratic. I told her twice I didn’t think using buzzers would be good for my sons sensory processing disorder. She insisted they were better to use. Ended up with an uneven haircut and a cut on my sons ear to which she replied “that’s normal it will fade.” My son ended up having a panic attack in her chair after me asking her to take a break. She tried to insist that he did way better than other kids she’s seen and that she’s “seen kids be 10x worse”Not an ideal response for someone who supposedly works and specializes in cutting hair for children with disabilities.Do not bring your child here.

Called for an appointment for my 18 month old sons first haircut based on the great reviews! She was going on vacation… didn’t mind waiting at all. She got back to me a few days later to set up an appointment, we picked a day & time, she said she’d confirm & get back to me shortly…… 5 days later I message asking if she was still available. Again said she’d get back to me shortly…. appointment day has come & gone with still no word. Very disappointed :(

We came to see Shannon for my son’s first haircut. She was fantastic! My son was definitely a little nervous, but he warmed right up to her. She was so great with him!! Distracted him, and gave him the combs to play with even, puzzles and a video too.This was so much better than I expected a child’s first haircut to be. Can’t wait to go back again!!Service: Haircut

This was such a beautiful experience with my 2 kids❤️ my daughter was super happy with her haircut, tinsels and her beautiful manicure. she did an amazing job and I totally recommend her for any service you would like. She is sweet patient and very loving women. Let me tell you my daughter is super shy and she’s not very well with meeting new people and when she met her she was very good to her. Very disappointed. We booked 4 days in advance for my son’s first hair cut. When we arrived at the parking lot we texted to let her know we were early. No response. Afterseveral texts and calls we finally got a text 30 minutes AFTER our appointment time. She forgot to call and reschedule after getting sick. I hope she feels better soon, but there needs to be better communication. I took the day off of work for this special day for nothing.
