Gentle Giant out of Portsmouth is the #1 moving company we recommend to all of our residents and soon to be residents. Not only are they timely, but they truly are "gentle" with our residents items. I've seen so many movers "milk the clock" and take their sweet time moving in residents which results in higher costs for the residents. This is not the case with Gentle Giant, they hustle and get the move in/out very quickly and proficiently. They also follow our communities move in/move out requirements and instructions without a fuss. They are extremely professional and we always look forward to seeing their name on our resident moving letters since we know they will get the job done without any issues.”

“The Huff team moved me out, stored my items for 4 mos., and then moved me into my new place. Callie was great to work with in the office. She and the warehouse manager were able to make things happen on the dates I needed when timing was tight. The "move out" team was terrific. Items stored were in pretty good shape. Even though stored in AC, I noted some evidence of possible humidity on some boxes but understand it in FL. Luckily nothing was damaged. The "move in" team was a bit less careful with things when unwrapping the blankets in the truck and moving things in without protection. Only one item had a small amount of damage (I did not make a claim). Overall, however, I recommend this company. The crews were polite and hard-working. They also respected the masking that I requested inside my homes. (My condo building required it.) I appreciated that in the heat and high humidity. Thank you to all!”

“This review will appear to be totally out of the norm as my family and ibought a Golf Cart to give to my In-Laws in CT for their 69th wedding anniversary as a surprise gift.The company in Epping failed miserably to deliver the Golf Cart as promised on Monday, June 12th ( the anniversary day ) with no communication until we learned late in the day it wasn't happening.On Tuesday with little communication and no confidence that they would ultimately deliver on the 13th I reached out to Wood Brothers who we had used several years ago for a large project and asked for a miracle and low and behold, ownership jumped thru hoops and arranged for a driver and straight job to pick up the Golf Cart in Epping NH and drive it all the way to Essex CT so we could decorate the Golf Cart and drive it up to my In-laws retirement community and if you saw their faces it was worth a life time memory !THANK YOU WOOD BROS. !!!!!!!!!!!”

“They are very helpful and flexible with moving options. They made two trips from my apartment to my new residence and my storage unit. Was estimated for 7hrs but they had me all moved in 5hrs.”
“Rick and his helps were efficient and nice. Move out from our NH house and move in to FL house was done seamlessly and at an affordable rate. The only minor issue was that the mattresses were not packaged fully and they got dirty on the sides. This wouldn’t stop me from giving 5 stars though. Highly recommended. Quicker, more affordable and more efficient than bigger national moving chains.”
