We really enjoyed the small museum after going up the auto road. It's free. Stop in!

It’s free and adorable. It’s a cool glimpse into what used to be used to go up the mountain or be used to get around locally. I didn’t take pictures of all of the carriages/cars so it wasn’t all spoiled. The workers are super knowledgeable and friendly and I certainly won’t mind showing friends/family when they come to visit.

The Red Barn Museum is located behind the visitors center. The museum shows some of the carriages, cars and vans used to transport visitors to the top of Mount Washington. Free admision but donations accepted. Friendly docent gave us more history about the displays.
