First time visiting Story Land. Was hoping for fun and memories. You won’t find them here. You have to pay for parking $11.50. Tickets are $45 each person. Tickets are non-refundable, my elderly mother was hospitalized and they would not refund prepaid ticket online. My daughter and I waited 30 mins for the teacup ride only to be broken down once we got to the front line. The swan ride is a black lake of trash and filth. Several of the boats were broken down only leaving a couple for many people in line. Park is trashy, very old / not maintained. No new paint or rides. Structures were rotted down and falling apart. The money made from visitors is not reinvested back into the park, which is sad as it’s 70 years old. Some workers were nice and smiled. Others did not care for their jobs which I could understand dealing with kids all day, but at least be friendly to family’s struggling with kids being in line for 30+ minutes, etc.

EDIT 2024: This park has gone downhill in recent years. Less clean and less upkept. Rides that were randomly closed. No more live animals, which my daughter loved. Very few characters walking around to interract with kids. No changing rooms for the water park. Not enough strollers for rent. No more cupboards/lockers for bags. My daughter and I waited 20 minutes for a water ride as our final activity of the day only to be told she needed shorts, which my husband had elsewhere in the park. Checked the ride signs and it said nothing about shorts, just a requirement shoes and a shirts, which my daughter had on. Still wouldn't let her on as it was supposedly against this unwritten rule, so we wasted the end of the day trying to get shorts only to miss the window by a couple of minutes. Patrons shouldn't be punished for non-existent information. Overall left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure I'll be back again.
2019:
This park is perfect for young kids. We went on a Saturday and Sunday in early summer with our four-year-old. Crowds were low, line lengths were very manageable, and there was plenty to keep her entertained the whole time. The place certainly lacks the polish of Disney World, and some of its attractions border on hokey having been created in the 1950s, but little kids will look past this and simply be enchanted. Our daughter met the park's fairy tale characters with total excitement (and reverence), and loved the short performances offered at the theaters. She was also able to go on all but one ride with us. I noticed a lot of changing and nursing stations, which is great for moms with infants. A bonus is that you are allowed to bring in your own food, which helps to keep costs low and allows parents to control food options for their kids. Overall, the whole place was very family-friendly, and we would definitely go back!

I have been coming here since my childhood, and it never fails to disappoint. Nostalgia nights was a BLAST being able to feel like a kid again. Even though there was heavy rain, we had a good chuckle just going all out!

Brought my 4 & 2 year old sons, and my 5 year old niece. It was a damp day but that didn’t hinder any of the fun. The rides offered were super appropriate for the age range.. mini rollercoaster for the toddlers was a hit. The trains and construction equipment was adored by my newly turned 2 year old. We enjoyed create your own sundae as a treat and thought pricing was good. When the rain picked up, we got to see the Daniel Tiger show, and played for 40 minutes in the “ball house” (fun for parents too!)
Only down side was the convenient section for baby changing was quite dirty, I almost would have felt more comfortable changing him in the middle of the bathroom floor in the women’s room (there’s no changing table in there- only in the side bathrooms for babies) Additionally, while the lines weren’t terribly long because of the weather – they move slowly because staff was not fully attentive. Staff was chatty and slow.
I didn’t capture her name, but I do have to give a shout out to the young women who did face painting. She did about five rainbow tigers in a row, but they all came out truly incredible.

So I just visited on Saturday after not having been since last year and was quite disappointed the animals are now all cardboard. Also some of the rides were closed, staff at the food vendors were quite rude when they forgot to give us our drinks they argued with me saying they just sent them out and I replied with not to me must of been your mistake and I had to ask for an apology. Ticket prices seem to be at all time high and can never seem to find a discount or coupon. Also shocked that the price to have your child’s picture on a fake drivers license just for fun is $12 only after waiting in line forever since the price is not listed until you’re at the register. Overall probably won’t be coming back next year.

I spent more than half the day miserable, we were told by the staff at the front of the park my daughter was able to ride all rides with an adult including the one she really wanted to, the roarasurus. When we got there the staff let us in sat her down she was so excited then they opened the lap bar again made her get out and said she couldn't ride but the girl who was shorter than her could and when mentioned to that the staff didn't check, that was issue 1 the other issue I had was the photo pass that I was sold that I couldn't fully use even thoght it was sold to me that I could. The tractors have pictures that we were really going to use alot as my infant couldn't ride the other rides but after we rode it we were told it's not working, even thoght when I bought it at Cinderella castle I was told it was. When I talked to guest services about it they lead me to the bamboo chute booth saying they could get the pictures walked there, they can't. Go back and ask for a refund on it and they can't cause it's another company I'd have to go to the drivers license place for that. So running around again there and was told cause it was used I cant get a refund for it, I didn't care for the pictures on it Teresa refused a refund. Ours and the other 4 family's that went will not go back, santas village is way better over a refund of 50 dollars that was poorly handed

Not sure what has happened here recently. It now costs $75 per person to get into this place. Waited in line almost an hour for the pirate ship ride. Multiple bathrooms were out of paper towels. They no longer have live animals at the beginning of the park. Teddy’s Lunchbox at Oasis smells like they have a sewer backup. Ride attendants are 17 years old and clueless. For approaching Disney ticket prices, this is the last time we will be coming here.

Storyland is such a fun place for kids!! There are so many classic rides and a brand new water park!! Perfect for hot summer days. This park is geared towards elementary and younger kids but the whole family will have a blast. I made a video review with more info especially about the water park so go check it out below!

We brought our Son's family with the kids being 18 months, 3.5, and 4.5 yrs. They loved the rides and we didn't have to wait too long. Was very thankful for the water refill stations. Ability to come and go was great as we took a break and had our own picnic in the shade at our cars for lunch.
The water park sprayers though were very powerful and in your face. Bring goggles. Even the area set up for the toddlers was overpowering. We also were very disappointed that we could not go down the slides with the kids. All other rides allow an adult with the younger ones but not a water slide where they can go under water at the end of the slide? That doesn't make any sense. We can understand not 2 kids together but an adult with a child should be allowed.
Recommend decreasing the intensity/angle of the spray. Even we adults were constantly turning away and wiping our eyes, hit in the face every where you turn.

We love storyland for the rides and entertainment! But since it's been sold the lines have definitely gotten longer. They are less efficient at getting people into the park. I also had a major issue with the nursing rooms. It's good in concept, but it mostly just turned into a diaper changing room, not a place to feed your baby. The diaper poop smell was OVERWHELMING. To the point that I couldn't feed my baby without gaging over the smell (in almost all the nursing spots). I wish they would move the changing tables to the bathroom so you don't have to feed your child in a public baby toilet. It's gross as and unsanitary. You shouldn't have to feed your baby in a room full of poop diapers. A room should never be the intended to be used for poop and food at the same time. It's like serving hot dogs in the bathroom. It's gross.

It was a great experience going to Story Land with my family from July 5th to 8th. During the morning, we enjoyed the water park very much. It was a nice place to cool off and then enjoy the rides afterward. The characters, such as Peter Pan and Cinderella, were very friendly and courteous. Additionally, the park itself was very clean and well maintained. I rate this place a 2 out of 5 stars. As I felt it was not as handicapped accessible as it states online. They do offer scooters to rent but for around 40$ dollars a day which I feel is over priced. the park has a lot of walking and one of my family members has a walker and needs it to walk. We have been catching the train which makes two stops to bring you to a closer location. the first two days my family member was able to sit in the handicap seating just fine and able to get around the park with less trouble. The last day they where told they couldn’t not sit in handicapped seating and was offered no solution. But to walk the whole park which is very far for someone who need assistance this was frustrating as the train person was very rude and the solution was nothing. even after talking to a manger this was very disappointing as a lot of grandparents and elders come here it should be more accessible to those who need extra support.

We went yesterday because they had a deal going on for the weekend. We got there right at opening and had no issues with parking and getting in the park. The lady at the front desk quickly solved are date mix up and was super friendly. It was raining but all the rides stayed open except for the pirate ship which kind of sucked but the rain was no issue. We enjoyed the rides and liked that all the rides could fit adults for parents riding with children. One of my main issues what that the animals got replaced with cardboard cut outs! We have been going here for years and getting rid of the animals is ridiculous! I guess they didn’t want to renew the live animal contract but with the amount of money this park makes each year that’s a silly excuse for not having the animals come back. Without the animals it feels super weird and empty. This place however is good for children and some of the rides are good for all ages like the Dinosaur ride for example. I did like that there was sections where you could leave backpacks and items before entering a ride. After riding all the rides we checked out the new water park. It’s more geared for children but it was hot out and it was fun for adults to get wet as well. If I’m being honest the layout of the water park is Wierd. To get to the bigger water slides kids and adults have to walk up a hill on hot black pavement to get to the stairs of the slides. My feet got burned pretty bad from the hot pavement. We tried the pizza place in the water park and it was super expensive and the food was very mediocre. The worst part was that I found 2 dead bugs in the bottom of my slushie cup. I was grossed out and the whole family told me to complain to them but I’m honestly too nice of a person to cause conflict. We ended up ending the day with meeting the princess at the castle and overpaying for pictures. It wasn’t a terrible experience here but there needs to be some changes if you are going to charge more for tickets.

Cute level theme park. This is a great park to start at before hitting the BIG ones in Florida. The food could be better and the set up of lines just to be a bottleneck of sorts. Some upgrading on rides, shoes maybe be necessary. There is a water park but I am still unsure if your allowed to use it and the park? Other than that I would recommend going for kids up to tween.

Our family had an awesome time at Storyland! My family has been going for three generations now! Was our first time at moo lagoon and my kids loved it! We did have two problems though! One the shoes offered at moo lagoon store are cheaply made the eyes fell off the shoes within an hour of purchase and they were $30 so I was not happy! The other was we purchased a day pass for digital images but was charged for seasonal! Super frustrating to be overcharged and charged for poorly made merchandise! I do not recommend buying the shoes at moo lagoon! The park it's self was amazing though!
