I was behind an elderly gentleman at WalMart gilford today. He bought a few items. His last item was a small screwdriver. She couldn't scan the tag. He told her it was $1.79. She just ignored him and put it aside. He said "if you don't believe me, send someone over ". She still ignored him and didn't price in the screwdriver. On his way out, he said "maybe after I leave, you might have someone do a price check and know I was telling you the truth". Still she ignored him. I was pretty upset for the old guy! As I was unloading my cart, she was on her cell phone! Now I'm ready to lose my shit... but I held back! Now I feel I should have reported her...

Not always but sometimes... the further you get from Walmart's base in Bentonville Arkansas, the worse the stores are. This is the exception. I found the store tidy, well stocked and clean. The cart corrals in the parking lot were empty, there was a greeter at the door who welcomed me to Walmart and I had no problem finding the few things I needed. There wasn't even a queue at the self-checkout to pay for my stuff. What? Yes. My first Walmart in the Granite State! Fab. [Review 18542 overall - 93 in New Hampshire - 2064 of 2022.]

While on vacation we needed a few things for the week. This Walmart was the closest to where we were staying in Center Harbor. We placed a pick up order for a few items, and then stopped in for a few we forgot. We pulled up and called for curbside pickup. The woman on the phone was very nice and said she would be right out. The order was brought out and wrapped in a shipping bag that is pictured in photos. This is the first time I've picked up an order at any Walmart being this well cared for. This was a super Walmart which means it is basically a full grocery store the inside. The store was clean and well-maintained. After getting everything we needed, we headed to the register. Our cashier was very nice and friendly. No issues at this Walmart, I wish every Walmart I went to was like this.

It's another walmart but one of the few walmart locations where I have seen a managers special. The manager special is cool where I was told that you can get a watermelon or pineapple for less than dollar. This time it was mangoes at $.58.

I try not to shop at Wal-Mart. However today I needed a couple of items. There were only two cashiers and three self check out registers opened. After cashing out at a self check out lane that kept malfunctioning my spouse and I were exiting the store. The greeter/ security guard asked for our receipt which we gladly gave him. One item in our bag had failed to scan do to a bar code that was illegible. At first we apologized and were going to purchase the item again. However the gentleman stated that the bar code was incorrect and that we had been undercharged for the item. We informed him that the item wasn't on our slip but neither was the wrong price which proved it just didn't scan. In any event it was in a bag and did not beep when we exited the store. Therefore there was no reason to stop us at all. He had no right to stick his hands into the bag without our consent. Additionally when we went back in line to pay for the item again he continually followed us and even as we left he was menacing us by staring as we drove away. This guy had no walmart insignia on yet he was checking slips at the door. In fact I almost plowed right through him assuming he was homeless or a customer. I understand that the item had a damaged bar code on it which made it hard to read. However the other tag was there prior to us trying to purchase it and it wasnt our fault for it being mislabeled. In any event we should have been certain it rang in but it was a cheap item and the place was crowded and we thought it rang in. However to have him pull it out without consent is against the law! Furthermore we had waited forever in line the 1st time so doing so again because the upc was maligned was not desirable. The store should have more actual cashiers and the items should be labeled properly. Finally there shouldn't be an abrasive jerk opening bags that never beeped and for which I had a receipt! Lastly to actually follow us after an innocent mistake is in poor taste. I will never shop there again! Good luck stopping lawsuits at such a dirty unkept and unruly establishment.

This Walmart is fine for the most part. Hard goods are cheaper than the other nearby markets. The produce department has really improved in the last few years, produce is fresher. The only issue I have is the deli. It is very time consuming to order from this deli. The wait-time is too long compared to other markets. It is usually understaffed. Also, deli employees need training on 'customer first' policy. The last time I was at the deli (and it is the LAST time), I was the only customer waiting. The employee had her back to me intently cleaning equipment. I stood there almost 10 minutes. A gentleman who appeared to be a supervisor, walked behind the deli counter, looked at me, looked at the employee, and continued walking to the backroom. He should have brought it to her attention that someone was waiting. It's Walmart.

We use this Walmart every summer. We have no real issues with the store. It is a Walmart. However, the pharmacy messed me up. They are very sweet people but they tell me I am too early for refills per my NJ Walmart and I'm looking at a bottle that says I am past due. I have to pay full price to get enough meds to get me back to my NJ Walmart who says "I don't know why they said that you were due a refill a couple weeks ago. Arrrrr But now, because NH Walmart tapped into the refill I can only get a partial refill even though I paid full price for the NH meds. I just get so confused by Walmart Pharmacies but alas they do have the cheapest meds and when you are paying out of pocket or have cheap insurance you go where the price is best. But you have to be alert for their mix-ups and errors. July 2019

Good selection of things. There are never more than 3 registers open and the 20 items or less ones are literally never open. Their produce is disgusting. Mold on 3 separate bags of lemons just sitting there and the rest isn't much better.

Totally GROSS! I understand that people love their dogs. I understand that people have some legal service dogs. What I don't understand is why Walmart allows any and all dogs in their stores! In the past three visits I have seen at least two dogs each time. These dogs were in the seat that people put their kids or their food in!! One dog actually relieved himself on the seat. I will now shop at Target where I have not seen this happen. Walmart, smarten up..... people will still come to your store if they have to leave their doges home.

Went into Walmart yesterday to pick up a few things. I parked down by the garden shop. When I went to leave the gate was locked so I went back in to ask if someone could let me out. On other occasions I have been let out. I am a senior & parking down that end is easier for me. I found a young man working down an isle right before the pharmacy. I approached him & asked if there was any way he could open the gate for me, he was polite * told me yes. As we were leaving to do so 2 other employees that had been standing near by talking told me the gate is locked. I said yes I know but I am parked out there, the response was well you'll just have to walk. I was told they don't have enough help to keep that section open. One of the said young men was leaning against a pole talking. Instead of talking one of them could have let me out. I find most of the people that work at the Gilford store very rude with an attitude. During my working days we would be without job if we spoke or acted rudely to people. It's a horrible store to shop in.. wish we had more stores adound.

Probably one of the best experiances I have ever had at a Wal-Mart! I was in the market for a grill. I went there and found a decently priced grill for the summer. As I was walking out of the store one the associates that worked there saw me looking at the grills and asked me if there was anything he could help me with. This happened to be William the assistant store manager. I told him the grills I was looking at outside was better overall grill and was built already and I wanted to see if i could buy this one that was already assembled. William was awesome. He not only personally helped me with the exchange he helped me get the grill into my SUV. Honestly he is one of the best people there and I will always shop here with confidence knowing he is one of the managers. Awesome experiance!

I walked in around 9pm. I was looking for a sweater because the hospital where I was working this week was FREEZING. They actually had a nice selection of sweaters and I purchased a green one that actually got several compliments at work the next day. I'm currently on a flight to Phoenix and I am SO glad I have this sweater. It's like a morgue on this plane. Anyway, the store was well stocked and clean and when it was time to check out there was ample cashiers and I didn't wait in line at all.

They were very average Walmart. They weren't very respectful and didn't know where anything was when I asked.
