“I try to avoid hospitals at all costs, but an emergency appendectomy is one of those situations where they can't be avoided. I'm so so SOOOOO grateful for everyone at Lakes Region Hospital! Literally everyone is so friendly and compassionate. Even the janitorial staff! The ER staff, the OR staff, and my recovery team were all FANTASTIC. I wish I could name them all and give them proper credit. I'm forever grateful for how quickly and efficiently I was cared for. And they didn't have to be funny and upbeat to do a job well done, but they were anyway. That just made the experience all the better. Thank you!”

“The phlebotomist at the Gilford location is AMAZING. She is professional, pleasant, and seems genuinely happy. I do wish an additional location could be established in Alton or the Rochester area since the Somersworth location no longer has hours. It's very inconvenient to have patients from these areas drive to Gilford or Portsmouth - both are 45 to 50 minutes one way.”
