Our cashier informed us that, even though we were from out of town, there was no need for a special membership card to get the best prices—everyone is offered the same great deals. This inclusive approach made our shopping experience even better.

“I recently visited Hannaford and came away impressed overall. The store is clean, bright, and well laid‑out, making it easy to find what I needed without wandering endlessly. Staff were friendly and helpful. When I asked for help finding an item, the associate went out of her way to point me in the right direction and even offered an alternative when they were out of stock.

Checkout was fairly quick, though the lines got a little long during peak hours. I also noticed that some shelf labels were missing or slightly off, and one or two “sale” items didn't seem to match what was rung up. Nothing deal‑breaking, but a little attention to detail would elevate the experience.

Overall, Hannaford is a solid grocery option — clean, pleasant, and dependable with a few minor hiccups. Worth shopping there and will return.”

“I love it at Village Store because they have very rare items that no one else carries. Like diet coke...chips. and even gum! I was floored by the huge selection of cigarettes. Like 5 brands! You won't find that just anywhere!”

“I stopped to pick up a few items, not expecting much but this store was so inviting. Nice displays of produce, flowers, just to name a few. And all fall decorations , that I wished I had a big shopping to do so I could spend more time here. A big store, with most everything you need. Clean as well which is a big plus. Glad I stopped in as this seems to be one of the nicest Hannafords around.”

“This is my local DG, so i'm in here quite a bit, definitely a couple times a week, for the last 2/3 years. The staff is always friendly, & I have plenty of nice lil chats with them. Just last night the man at the register was very kind, I'll have to get his name next time I see him. I see Jess the most, with her elf ears, & she has honestly become such a staple to me. It would be weird to visit this location & not see her! The store itself is pretty kept in order, especially compared to other DG locations that I have visited. You're not trying to make your way around several carts, or stacked boxes of product, the shelves are always organized, & when there is a cart to be put away, there is always a staff member working on it. Definitely my preffered DG location!”
