I have been looking for a place that does trail rides not “follow the leader” style, and North Road Farm was perfect. I loved my ride with Jan, she gave me fun knowledge about horses and brushed up on skills I hadn’t used in awhile. If you’re looking to learn and ride, highly recommend!

My granddaughters and I love North Road Farm. Jan has taken such care to offer safe and informative riding practices as well as learning about the horses themselves. And we have FUN!! The girls enjoy the games and I love to see them progress in their riding skills.
Established in 2004, North Road Farm is an dedicated horseback riding school for beginner youth to adult riders. As a small, private barn, our specialty is teaching folks how to safely ride equines in the arena, on the trail, beach or adventure treks.
Jan Brubacher, owner/instructor/champion competitor and her patient, knowledgeable staff all delight in sharing our friendly, well mannered horses and ponies. Boarding horses is not offered at North Road Farm.
New riders must complete and submit online the Ride Release form found on northroadfarm website and reserve a ride time in advance.
