Had a sign on the door that said they are open on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm.
11 am and no lights on and doors locked!!
Received word a person from there had a medical emergency, that is why they were not open ! I do hope that person was not seriously injured or ill...... see ya'll soon.

There's nothing in this store that a reasonable person would purchase. I guess that's why only Freedom Village folk shop here. The vegetables they get are so immensely overpriced. Farm fresh eggs are more than DOUBLE the cost of everyone else's It's asinine. The people who work here, for the most part, are very rude...unless your a part of the Freedom Village Cult. Overall, skip this joint. Go a few more miles to Madison Village Store and get REAL provisions, awesome food including fresh local AFFORDABLE produce, breads, and fresh eggs, awesome coffee, NORMAL prices, and FRIENDLY staff.

This is a charming and historic store that is under new ownership. They don't have too much merch in there at the moment, but there was some pretty and reasonably-priced jewelry, cards, coffee, baked goods, toys, and frozen food (such as meat) from local farms. They have a lovely deck out back, overlooking the river, where you can take your coffee. I think they used to have more food offerings, like sandwiches, and I hope they'll bring those back. The only drawbacks of this place are that it's in a really out-of-the-way location, and I suspect open only seasonally. I would definitely phone ahead before driving out of your way to come here. I hope the new owner succeeds!
