Mittersill Alpine Resort is a family-friendly ski lodge with a great history, built in 1945. It is not like any other hotel or motel; it is different and situated in the middle of pure beauty in all directions, facing the White Mountains. The location is perfect, a short drive to many attractions, nearby towns, and all the locations guests want to see and do without long drives. The resort offers comfortable units, from rooms to homes, that are clean and well-appointed for meal prepping. Some rooms are updated and very quiet, with great individual patio areas to enjoy the beautiful views. Amenities are very good and include an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor pool, two whirlpools, a sauna, a kids area, shuffleboard, basketball and tennis courts, workout equipment, hiking trails, a pond, and of course, skiing. There is a restaurant and bar on site with a limited menu. The staff is very nice, making guests feel like family and responding quickly to maintenance needs. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, with fresh air and no traffic noise. It is a great place for all seasons, offering something to do in every season—skiing in winter, fantastic autumn leaves, and perfect spring and summer visits for hiking and lake tours. Overall, Mittersill Alpine Resort provides a terrific, friendly experience in a beautiful setting.

Absolutely love mittersill. Unfortunately new owners are changing things? we love coming up here and how it's not like any other hotel or motel. It's different, that's what we love about it. My mom is in her 50s and has been coming here since she was 12. We go every year and start the countdown once we leave
