The Franconia Inn is a charming and beautiful hotel, well-located for exploring the White Mountains and Franconia Notch State Park. It offers wonderful views, especially during October foliage. The inn is clean, peaceful, and well-appointed, with cozy and inviting commons areas including a living room, library, and a pub with live music. There is a wonderful front porch and screened porch, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. Rooms are comfortable with good beds, though some feel a bit dated. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is very nice and on point. The food and drinks are exceptional, with excellent pub food and fresh, delicious dinners; the weekend restaurant is highly recommended. The inn provides a perfect base for hiking, scenic drives, and watching gliders, with a horse ranch nearby. It is a special place with New England charm.
We were looking for a nice cross-country skiing spot late in the day. We called the Franconia Inn and were warmly welcomed. The ski tracks take you through a beautiful forest with a pond, it’s simply amazing. Took us about an hour, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset! Thank you again :)
