I feel so lucky to live so close for flowers on the porch ! I randomly will stop throughout the season, but this certain day, I stopped for my 8 year old son, who was having a rough day worrying about his family back home in Lewiston,Maine during the mass shooting man hunt. I stopped grabbing your perfect bouquet and met him at the bus stop, and these flowers made his entire day! Thank you for all the random occasions, but especially this one. FLOWERS MAKE EVERYONE FEEL BETER, EVEN BOYS Your arrangements are always beautiful and I love my shirt !!

After researching + comparing many different vendors + alternative options for our wedding florals, hiring Shepherd’s Gate Flower Farm was an absolute no-brainer. Melissa was an angel to work with – she was extremely communicative + responsive, flexible, understanding, + dedicated to providing the highest quality product. She effortlessly captured the vibe + energy we were looking for with the set-up, rented vases, floral distribution, bouquets, + table arrangements. I was hoping for bold but modest garlands on each of our tables, but due to cost, that wasn’t an option. Melissa worked with me to draft up several options for table arrangements + garlands that fit my description + vision while still remaining budget friendly + realistic at all times. I received SO many compliments on our floral arrangements, especially the simplicity of the table arrangements + the girls’ bouquets. Everything was stunning, the florals did not wilt, break, fall apart, or discolor. I was so pleased with the final outcome + cannot express enough gratitude to Melissa at Shepherd’s Gate Flower Farm for all her hard work + for putting together the most beautiful florals for my most special day. 10/10 recommend!instagram for photos: @jackieciommo

Gorgeous flower farm for wedding florals! Highly Recommend! Romantic and colorful flowers.Using Melissa from Shepherds Gate flowers was the best decision I made for my wedding. I legit cried when I walked up the stairs to our reception and saw the long rows of dinner tables all decorated. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Choosing a flower farm over a typical florist shop was not something I had set out to do but I couldn’t be happier with my decision to support local farms. When I first talked with Melissa, I described my vision to her but was concerned that since she is a flower farm, and you can’t pick the exact flowers you want since its all dependent on nature - I didn’t know if she could execute my vision. Let me tell you not only did Melissa execute my vision perfectly, but her flowers quite literally stole the show on my wedding day. EVERYONE was in awe of how beautiful, romantic, and whimsical the whole setup was. I picked a color palette of pale pastels in all shades. I told her I wanted shades of pink, peach, lilac, baby blue and yellow with pops of light orange. I was really interested in creating an English garden vibe with a wild and romantic look. Since I had such a specific vision, I purchased my own candles, tapered candle holders, and miniature bud vases though she does have lots you can rent from her. From the very beginning up till a few days before the wedding when I went to visit Melissa’s farm for the first time, Melissa was prompt to respond, caring and very keen to understand exactly what I wanted. I am forever thankful for the floral decorations and bouquets Melissa created for us. She understood exactly what I wanted and set up our dinner service just how I envisioned it and created bouquets that were jaw dropping beautiful. My bouquet was a loose hanging with lots of beautiful colored pastels. I highly recommend using Shepherds Gate flower farm for your wedding, if you are OK with a little flexibility in the exact flower you want and love that wild garden look. Having fresh cut flowers are so much better than any flower you can get from a florist. FYI – I visited the farm a few days before the wedding to look at the flowers that would be cut for our wedding. It was so fun! Melissa will take care of everything for you from delivering the bouquets to your bridal suite to setting up your reception. She has AMAZING artistic talent.

Wedding flowers. I am not going to lie, flowers were not high on my priority list. We had a DIY wedding and wanted simple décor so I knew I only needed bouquets for myself and bridesmaids. I knew the flowers would be pretty but Shepherd’s Gate far and away exceeded my expectations. They were stunning! I could not stop showing off my bouquet! Melissa was so easy to work with. I had no idea how to describe what I wanted so I sent her a bunch of photos and said what I liked and disliked about each and she created a bouquet that was even better than what I imagined.

We can't recommend Melissa and her team enough! The flowers were gorgeous for our wedding and our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful our centerpieces, bouquets, and arbor was. We are so grateful at how easy and personalized they made the process for us too. Not only was it an incredible experience but they did not charge a minimum/ were affordable so I was able to have real flowers instead of silk flowers at my wedding too. I will recommend them to all friends and family members getting married in the future!

Had my 30th birthday here! It was amazing I loved it! It was so relaxing we were able to bring our own drinks we did a morning flower arrangement class and brought mimosa’s and they provided water, tea and some snacks. This was such a fun experience and I highly recommend them for bridal showers, small parties and more! So beautiful and such a caring business we loved it!
