I bought my pick up truck at FOSS motors. I knew exactly what I wanted to buy and how much I wanted to spend. FOSS worked with me and I got the right truck for me. Fred Clark was my salesman, he did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He seemed like he was truly there to help me find the right vehicle, not just trying to make a sale. He contacted me the following day after I bought my truck and about a week later just making sure I was still satisfied. Because of how I was treated at FOSS I'll be going there again for my next vehicle.

Called in twice in two days to get to a person. Sat on hold for about 5 minutes trying to schedule a simple oil change. Was told that they are not accepting new service customers unless you purchased the vehicle from them. Been the case for 1.5 years. Only considered them due to proximity to where I live, but would not recommend at all. I tried to purchase a vehicle from them, but they were about 8k higher than Key in Portsmouth. No thanks. Crappy customer service, and inability to communicate well.

This is the the third car we have got through Foss. We absolutely trust them and they worked magic to get me a vehicle to replace my old Jeep. Josh is absolutely amazing and was incredibly helpful!! Thank you Foss and Josh for you making it possible for vehicle number 3!

Bought a TRX truck from them in 2021 and they did not have the title to the vehicle. Made me wait over a month to take delivery of the truck. Fast forward to today when I went back as I was buying a Jeep from my daughter. After being there from 2 hours and driving 1.5 hours to get there the salesman pulls the same bullshit "we don't have the title so we have to wait for that to come in before we let you leave with the vehicle." I thought that I was in the twilight zone, this couldn't be happening again. Lightning doesn't strike twice as this must be a common unprofessional tactic by Foss. After a few choice words, I walked out and prepared for my drive back home through traffic which took me 2.5 hours to get home. Buyer beware with this place!!!

I highly recommend Foss Motors and Steve if you're looking for an easy and professional experience to buy your next car!

No delivery, will not meet in between, refuses to do online paperwork. Demands you come into their dealership for minimum an hour. Not a great business plan in this day and age. Customer service is not awesome. They don't seem like they want to do much for customers.

Bought my Jeep Wrangler 2/1/2023 and her it is 2/14/2023 and haven't been able to register my Jeep because Foss motors didn't have the correct paperwork. When I called and called and they kept saying that they were gonna call me back! They kept offering a rental but I would have to pick it up before 5pm and I don't get out of work till 5pm! I had a manager tell me that he can help me fix my problem but he wasn't going to! Since I bought the car I had to ask for rides to work because my situation wasn't being taken seriously. I got the phone hung up by the manager... very professional!!! I would never buy here again! Please make sure you have all the correct paperwork so this doesn't happen to anyone else!!!! I wasn't able to drive my Jeep because it could of gotten towed!

Several weeks ago my Jeep Wrangler developed a pretty concerning noise in the front driver's side wheel. I filled in the online form to give the dealership the information, and waited for contact. Nothing happened, so I went into the dealership in person. The chap at the service desk, (who I later discovered was the main boss) told me they were fully booked, and that they couldn't fit me in for a service for about four weeks. I can appreciate a Jeep place being busy, so we made the appointment. When the scheduled date came around, I was met at the service desk by Tony. To say he's talkative would be an understatement. He started off by saying that the boss should never have accepted my service request as they're understaffed and constantly turning customers away, (and that they never respond to online bookings!) How a customer would know this is beyond me, but he wanted his complaints to be heard. The mechanic looked into the problem, and reported that it could easily be solved by rotating the wheels. They were too busy to do it there and then, so we made another appointment for three weeks later. I asked Tony if he was sure that rotating the wheels would solve the problem, and he confirmed that it would. I returned a few days ago for the wheel rotation and an oil change. After an hour and a half of waiting, the next service tech told me that the oil was changed, but it was not possible to rotate wheels with off-road tires! So, seven weeks of waiting, and nothing was done. I can't believe that someone as critical of his own boss as Tony actually knows nothing at all about cars, but is sitting there spouting crappy advice. Foss Motors could not have been less helpful, or more of a let-down. This was an absolute waste of my time, and I will never even consider returning.
