Man did we make a huge mistake. We trusted Kelly at Exeter Lumber to guide us through our kitchen remodel. I told her from the start I did not want cheap. I like to pay more and get more. I like higher end quality not entry to mid. I also said my wife might try to cheap out but don't tell her the costs. I would be paying. She is a very professional gal and seemed very knowledgeable. One of her first thoughts was to add a bumped out window for my wife to grow herbs on and we loved it! Her layout was wonderful and we went with it. She recommended a contractor who was also very professional and attentive. The first new thing installed was the wrong window. Kelly had failed to put the bump out in the contract. Our fault for believing all had been done correctly. It took three windows and three months to get the correct one. We gladly paid for the additional labor to bump the window out and are thrilled with it now. Now 4 months later the cabinet center sections have shifted and the wood color is showing. Out of the 22 doors, 18 have shrunk. So I guess not all have this problem. I sent her a text and informed her. She said we need to get a humidifier and that is normal. I am guessing these cabinets have the highest profit margin for Exeter Lumber. I was blown away but such a reply. So after the sale its all on you. We have winter here in NH and I would consider that a normal condition. Apparently the cabinet company can not stain the whole panel due to costs? So they take short cuts at the customers expense and blame them on poor quality. Just a heads up, If you make a contract with Exeter Lumber triple check it, do not leave your faith in them. Do NOT buy W.W, Wood Cabinets!

Phenomenal customer service. I spoke with Al (great name!) a few times, and he was courteous, patient, and most importantly had a great sense of humor. Not only did the price average out to about $1.50 cheaper PER BOARD than the big box stores (I did the math), I much prefer to support a local business. I will be buying all of my lumber from them for the foreseeable future!!!

One of the best all around building materials and local hardware stores in the Seacoast. Staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend shopping here!

Spoke with Al about lumber needs for a fencing project. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and offered several ideas I hadn't thought of. He also referred me to other local businesses suited to my needs. This is clearly a business with integrity and expertise.

This is a great little place definitely no hole-in-the-wall they've got a lot for every field. I won't lie their prices were pretty reasonable as well. Definitely somewhere we will frequent in the future. Props for good customer service as well

I needed materials for a small roofing job, and the selection at the big box stores was lacking, and it would take them a while to get more in stock. Exeter Lumber had a lot of color choices and their prices were slightly better! Their staff was helpful and it was a quick and easy experience.

Went in today because we ran out of pellets. Mike brought them right over to our house... happenstance that he had time for a delivery! Exeter Lumber is the best!
