I had been a customer for years. I had called and spoke with a lady expressed how I needed a fill. They were unable to get out to me so I asked if it he okay for me to have a delivery from another company. In that moment they made me feel it wasn't an issue. Some short time after I had a furance issued and again I called them and the lady was incredibly rude and said I hadn't been getting oil from them. Which was only once and again I asked them directly if it be a problem. She said well you're no longer a customer here, I explained that I had no intent in leaving as a customer and I really needed help. She had absolutely no interest in talking with me and was completely rude. I then also had a conversation with a man and as he expressed it was not his problem. Now after 25 years of being a customer with them.....it was not their problem.

It is currently -9 out but was -15 this morning when we first realized we were having issues with our furnace. At 7AM Davis Fuels arrived and by 8:30AM had us back up and running. We consistently receive great service since we have been using them and we are so thankful. We highly recommend them for oil delivery as well. Our son just switched to them from a competitor for his house as well. They use propane and oil and are very pleased.

I have been using Davis Oil since I moved back from Florida my house is small 1100 Sq. I only use a tank and half. The tech is really smart solving a noise problem, he actually showed me how to remedy the noise problem. Yes sometimes the price is a little higher but the service is always spot on. I would also add the woman who takes the call is always kind and accommodating. That’s why I will continue to use Davis oil of Epsom

I called to leave a message on a Monday. It was one of those weird holidays where some people are open, some not. I was looking for a new propane delivery company. I thought I would leave a message for a call back. It was the only phone number given. The woman who answered yelled at me for calling on a holiday! She answered the phone on a holiday! Not really a holiday. But you understand. I have never forgotten how rude she was. Where I come from if you run your own business you don't act like that. Needless to say. I moved on. But have never forgotten how mean she was.

I've been buying oil and having my boiler serviced from Davis oil since the early 1990's. In all this time I have always checked price on oil and bought from whom had the lowest price. This year I didn't buy pre-buy as years past, their price $2.999 a gal. for pre-buy, When I could buy the same for $2.58. which is over a $250 savings. ( Dah ).Because I bought from another this year, my cleaning appointment was canceled. ( I was not told this ), I found out only when I called to check the day and time next week for my scheduled cleaning. Not the two months ago when I told them I would be buying the pre-buy from another. ( companies put little colored rings on your oil pipe to show they deliveryed oil.) I have a few color rings on my oil pipe. Yes, I always told them when I was buying from another when checking price on pre-buy oil. I have the emails.So 30 years. means absolutely nothing.No cleaning this year. Not even a customer.I understand they charge more for oil due they have a service, so if you ever have a problem they will come out?Well, so will any other oil company you call, customer or not, if you need service they come out. They pride themselves as a family oil company. You are not their family. You are a customer. They only care about the money they make off you the customer.That's your family service.After 30+ years one would think, They would say we'll do your cleaning as schedule next week, but you need to know. If you do buy oil from others, you'll have no service.That's what a Family oil company would say, as I'm told by others.Not this family oil company. Ever feel like a number?

I am so incredibly impressed by this company. After dealing with nightmare after nightmare with Irving, we decided to give Davis a call.It was refreshing to make a phone call and talk to a real person in a real office, and not a computer, or a random call center thousands of miles away.We live on a steep driveway that can be challenging in the winter time. Two other companies took a look at it and said "nope sorry" without even trying.We ran out of oil and Davis came out within 24 hours, threw chains on their truck, and made it up no problem.This is the difference when you work with a local company, they are prepared! Big companies like Irving don't give a damn, because you're just a number to them.Really wish we had called Davis sooner.

Very rude woman on the phone. If you don't buy oil from them exclusively they will not provide emergency help if your heating system goes out. I am actually ok with this business practice. What I was upset with was the rude way this was expressed to me over the phone. I had purchased most of my oil there in the past but had gotten a better cash price earlier this fall, which qualified me as a (non-customer). Needless to say I will never be calling Davis Fuels for any service or deliveries
