According to the USPS website, passport application walk-ins are from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. But, I was turned away at 9:50 because, apparently, the job requires 15 minutes and cannot be done in 10. No respect for customers' time here.
Either update your website to reflect the walk-in hours of 9:00-9:45 AM, or replace your staff with more capable people who can rise up to the challenge of doing a simple task in 10 minutes instead of 15 out of courtesy, especially when there is no other customer in sight.

I had very good experience with this post office in the past until yesterday I went there to mail a document urgently to Spain. The old lady who took me at the counter was named "Debbie" or "Debby" (didn't know how to spell it). I took both priority + express envelope with me asking her that which one was the fasted way to get to Spain. I needed the documents to arrive by Apr 25 (it was April 17 when I was there). She said that this small post office didn't even provide express envelope service. I asked " How about priority? How long it takes to get to Spain". She definitely had no idea and went to the back of the office asking her college. She came back to me said that 5-10 business days and told me that I should go to fedEx to get faster service. I said that I might have a little bit flexibiity if it is 5-10 business days. As it is 5 business days from Apr 17-Apr 25. There's possibility! I said that I wanted to do priority. Then she said that "oh, wait. It might be 10-14 business days for priority". Then she went to ask his college again. She came back and of course she was wrong. So she was trying to work on the computer, saying that "the computer system didn't even come up for that". She worked on it for about 1 min and the system poped out the price for me.
I have all the documents ready to be put in the envelope and sticker address already filled. She asked me to step beside to put on the sticker and documents in the envelope. I said that it only takes 2 second to do that, why should I step beside and wait in the line again. I felt that she didn't want to take me. Not sure of the reason, maybe racism? She finally found a good reason for me to step beside for filling the cross boarder form, which made sense to me.
I filled the cross-boarder form and waited in the line again. The moment she saw me I was her next person to take care, and she went to back of the office. So her college took care of me, a very gentle man called DAVE. I had the thought to confirm with him about the express service. I said that: " The other lady told me that there's no express service in this office, so I filled priority envelope." He said, oh no they definitely had express service!! He kindly helped me transferred my documents from priority to express service.
Why would the lady called "Debbie" say that there's no express service there, but actually there was!! Did she lie or was she trying to hide something? She wasn't professional at all with her work. If she didn't know how to mail out of USA , she could just simply tell me!! I could understand if she told me she didn't know how to do that, and I can wait for the one who was capable to do it. Or does she have racism? There are so many international students in this University town, and I don't want other people have the same experience with me.
Really bad experience with this lady called "Debbie" since I moved to this town!!

I always come to the Durham Post Office to mail my package. All the postmen working here are so friendly and they will simply stick my label to the package with a tape, and then process the mail, however, today (May 11, 2023) around 4:00 pm, the young lady working there is so mean to me, she said I have to stick the label to the package by myself, and she refused to do that work, so I had to come back to my office and stick the label to the package with a tape and then come back to the post office for mailing. I am wondering why the Durham Post Office hired this lazy person, it is her job but she refuses to do that, she should be fired.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at the Durham post office. I needed a package mailed out that was prepared and boxed in appropriate shipping. Just needed a piece of tape for the label which was printed (only option). The employee Dave was rude about it and unwilling to help. He claimed 'he would lose his job' if he helped a customer with tape. This simple nice gesture would have gone a long way to helping someone out. This is never an issue at surrounding town post offices and I went next town over and had no issue. I think the Durham post office needs to re-evaluate their business model if revenue from tape sales is a big deal.

I ship a lot of packages, and the front staff at the post office have been kind, friendly, and welcoming to me for years. Sometimes there's a little wait for retail services, but given current national management practices, that's not unexpected, and I don't think it's fair to blame the local outlets. Either way, the staff are always courteous to people and do their best to work quickly when there's a backup. I love my local post office!

There is always a line, and it moves slow! No such thing as a quick trip to this post office.

The postman in lee is horrid. My house is on a dirtroad in the woods and he saw my mailbox on tuttle rd, saw the psckage was too big,and didnt drive into the dirtroads where he would have found my cabin with the street # clearly visible. Instead he chose to say my front door and driveway were not visible and chose to be lazy. Ive seen usps trucks on my dirtroads before so no excuse. Hope the usps goes under.

This place does not know how to deliver to a simple address as a UNH student I have an apartment building that I live in they don’t know how to figure this address out I’ve had multiple packets that I have just gone missing recently because they did not arrive to my address from the post office I’ve never had such poor experience with post office drivers
