The wifi, power, and heating goes out all the time. Paying $1080 a month for stuff to not work even after calling the office is abhorrent.

They have the worst internet by far that I have seen anywhere. You are better off going to the traffic circle McDonalds to try and use the internet. I even paid for high speed internet and half the time it doesn’t connect in my apartment. So excited to not be here next year.

Zero regards for child safety! Demanding lease payment after pleading to be removed because an assigned roommate had loaded handguns and tactical gear in there room!!!!! After photo confirmation and written confirmation it took 12+ days for a response! And all returning phone calls come surprisingly at 4:59pm!!! And then no response! Sorry, hun and child safety at campus should be responded to immediately!!! Charges to come.

My daughter has been a resident for the past few months and our experience here has been amazing. Not only are the apartments absolutely beautiful, the property management team specifically Mimi has gone above and beyond to help us with a situation that arose this last month. Her response to questions and needs was incredibly fast and efficient. She has worked very well with my daughter and I cannot speak highly enough of her or the complex itself. I highly recommend this property to other parents and/or students who are considering living there in the future.

I have been a resident for a year now and I love living at Madcom. The apartments are a great size and really allow for a "homey" feel. The location of Madcom has really improved my experience because I do not have a car on campus. It is located in the heart of campus and everything I need is just steps away! I highly recommend living here.

Lived in Madbury Commons last year!! I had an amazing experience. Facility was as new when my lease began. Maintenance was awesome. If an issue arose, they would be up within the hour to fix it. Office had a great always willing to help!

Actually your response concerning COVID-19 and occupancy is false. Students were not permitted to use their apartments as many states including NY banned travel and the UNH campus was closed. Anyone reading this will quickly realize that Golden Goose Properties is way out of line demanding payment for an apartment that was unable to be occupied. Further, why would UNH refund housing money? BECAUSE ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. THATS WHY!Considering Madbury is practically on campus shouldn’t the same be afforded to its tenants? ANY SANE PERSON WOULD SAY YES! Not Golden Properties! They instead will demand payment for an apartment that we were prohibited from using due to state laws and a GLOBAL PANDEMIC.Classy organization you got there....really putting students best interest at heart. Shameful!STAY AWAY IS MY ADVICE

Location is perfect! Right next to campus and downtown. I have lived there for two years and plan to for a third. It has everything you would need in the ideal location including in-unit laundry, which is very convenient. There’s no parking which can be a downfall but the location helps to make up for it. It’s expensive, but so are most of the other options close to campus.

Madbury Commons is a great place to live! The staff is super helpful and they always have something fun going on. The amenities are great (like in home laundry!!) and everyone is always friendly.

If you are considering renting an apartment here, do yourself and your parents a favor, DON'T!! The apartments are extremely dark, the hallways are like a rat maze, and the staff is unprofessional at best and rude at worst. In addition to the exorbitant rent prices, they overcharge for all sorts of "fees" and will steal your entire security deposit claiming things like $85 to clean a shower and $75 to clean a stove. They also like to parade future tenants in and out of your apartment and bedroom at all hours claiming that it is their right to show the apartment. I would have given zero stars if I could. Steer clear!!!

The recent staff turnover has been extremely refreshing, and you can definitely tell they care about helping the residents and helping them out whenever possible. Spencer in particular went above and beyond to cater to whatever needs I had, and I've witnessed him go out of his way to assist other residents as well. He provides unbiased opinions on Durham housing and will be upfront and honest with you. I highly recommend contacting him if interested in living at any property owned by Golden Goose!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. It is not worth the insanely high rent, and everybody knows it including the management, which is why they are now offering 9-month leases and the ability to freeze your rent (which we were told we had to do last semester if we wanted to live there). All the utilities we have barely work, including our washer/dryer, dishwasher, and wifi. We have contacted management for multiple issues and the guys they sent basically told us "we know the utilities suck, we'll try to order you a new part." (the part never came) The only reason they have any decent reviews on here is because they recently sent out a mass email to all tenants saying "The first 25 tenants to come down and leave us a good review will receive a t-shirt and a chance to win $50!" (Which is a complete conflict of interest and a violation of google's review guidelines.) That's why all the good reviews are from around a week ago and that is the only reason all of these reviews aren't 1 star. Save your money and live somewhere with more affordable rent and an attentive management.

Filthy and smelly throughout; dank, dimly lit hallways feel borderline unsafe; thoroughly indifferent staff, if you can find them. Unreliable maintenance: frequent loss of power and air conditioning in the heat of the summer. Horrendous parking situation, basically parking ticket entrapment. LOUD! Low-quality construction means you can hear everything in every room above, below and beside you. INADEQUATE AIR HANDLING. Bathrooms never dry out (moldy) and smoke from your idiot roommate's bong and/or kitchen grease fire is circulated right into your room, too. Laundry appliance maintenance? High efficiency washers are not plumbed properly and do not drain well, so there is always a wiff of mold in the cloths. Seven cycles on "high" did not dry one medium weight bath towel. Madbury Commons IS A VERY EXPENSIVE TENEMENT. Do not try to live or study here.

Apartments are dull and depressing. Hallways are always a mess. Super expensive. They stole my security deposit and then claimed I owed them $800 because they "forgot " to charge me for some fee which was over 7 months ago. This is months after I've moved out too, and was expecting my security deposit back.

Sophomore year I lived in Madco and you can’t get a better location than here. Fully furnished and staff treated you like family. Spenser Flood is the Madbury’s Commons rep around campus, he is always available and willing to help whenever asked! He puts an amazing name to madco
