Great service a business that cares about their customers. I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler she’s old and tired. I got stranded with my 5 year old rear breaks locked up. Called after business hours on the off chance someone was available to help me and the owner himself answered. Not only did he personally come to get my Jeep back to the shop he had his wife to bring me and my daughter home. The repairs were done quickly and affordably priced. They have a lifetime customer great honest reliable friendly service. It’s refreshing to know in todays world not every business is just out for the dollar. Would highly recommend.

DON'T GET YOUR CAR INSPECTED HERE! I brought my 86k mile impala here and they gave me a huge list of things that needed to be fixed equaling close to $4,000. No joke. The car drove perfectly fine. So I brought the car, and the list, to another mechanic and they looked over everything that Durham Village Garage said I needed to fix and they could only laugh in disbelief. The only thing that it actually needed was rear brakes and they slapped on an inspection sticker. Thank goodness for honest mechanics, and it sure ain't Durham Village Garage! I'm sure that their dishonesty extends beyond inspections. Drive a little farther and find a real mechanic shop.
Edit to add: this was 5 months ago and my car is still operating perfectly ;)

Owner Mark is part artist and part scientist. The long and winding road of car repairs can be a bumpy ride, but Mark steers you to the finish line. Example 1 ...Had a latch door issue and hood would not open. Two other repair shots said they didn't know how to open up the hood and it would cost quite a bankroll at a body shop to fix. Mark opened the hood, analyzed the problem, ordeedr the part and got it done. Example 2....I have had a tire pressure issue for a couple years and two shops and tire repair place could not find a leak. Mark found it and sealed it in Pit Crew time As he says .... We Never Quit. Good guy,, who is honest, dedicated and talented ...That is the trifecta for car repair service

I just took my truck in for an inspection and this was my first experience with the new owner since George retired. The new owner was friendly, helpful and my old truck passed without any problems. I waited there for my turn and many customers came in and the phone was ringing frequently. Mark, the owner took care of everyone and obviously many were repeat customers. He's cleaned and organized the place and it looks great. I left with a very first good impression based on my observations of his interactions with customers and his staff.

I was nervous when they changed ownership--we'd counted on George for so long. But our experience has been terrific. Great communications, fair pricing, and very knowledgeable. So glad to have a trusted local mechanic right in town.

They just told me they were going to loosen my oil drain plug for no charge and then charged me 30$ for it, if they didn’t lie about the price I would have just gone to the store to buy a 30$ breaker bar. I didn’t assume it was free until on the phone you said that it wouldn’t be an issue, I could have bought the tool and done it for the same price in 30 minutes but you guys were closer which was why I called. If I was going to take the last 30$ out of someone’s pocket who is trying to do an oil change on their own to save money, I would let them know or give them a quote on this complex puzzle of mechanical engineering before I performed the unscrewing of one bolt.

I loveeeee it here. I had been struggling with my car making weird noises and they spent two hours looking for the problem trying every possible test. They are extremely nice and truly care about their customers.

one of the only shops i trust and use in the greater seacoast new hampshire area! i’ve had many positive experience with Durham Village Garage, but my most recent was absolutely excellent. Had a frustrating electrical issue with my Toyota and the mechanics at the shop went well out of their way to not only find and fix the issue, but did it in a fair way that kept the price reasonable. honestly, couldn’t have asked for better service! highly recommended!

Took my car here to get state inspected where they failed me and quoted me $2,200 for repairs. I took it to my hometown mechanic and he is doing the work for 5 times cheaper. If you are a college student in need of inspection or repairs take your vehicle elsewhere.
