Great ice, well kept, cute little place. There could be improvements made to accommodate spectators though. There are no bleachers or anything like that here. There are about 20 chairs placed in some pretty inconvenient areas that seat you so low that you can't really see any action on the ice. All that, plus the fact that it isn't an enclosed arena might not make it a perfect place for games, but it would certainly be an awesome place to go for public stakes or hockey or figure skating practice. Some angles make this look like an enclosed rink, but it is open to the elements on two sides. It must have been 10 degrees on my last visit.

The man I spoke to on the phone was VERY rude, even my husband was baffled as I had the phone on speaker "Did he REALLY say that right now?!" My husband exclaimed. The man acted as if he was too busy to answer a simple question, & abruptly referred us to the website. Didn't even get to fully ask my question before I was interrupted with "Do you have internet?? All of the questions you're gonna ask can be answered on the website. It would take me FOREVER to explain the rink schedule & rental information to you. Anyway, you can connect to the internet. Maybe use your neighbors computer or phone??"You're too busy to answer a simple question; too busy to do your job, but you'll stay on the line to insult me for not having internet? All that time you spent explaining how I should have internet could've instead been used to answer my questions. Instead I was humiliated & belittled for bothering him!! We will take our business elsewhere. Hubby & I looked forward to going here because of the fantastic reviews!! I hope no one has to encounter this man, who refused to give us a name. Didn't even answer the phone pleasantly, "Churchill Rink!" "Hello! My hubby & I are needin-" " Do you have internet?? All of the questions you're gonna ask can be answered on the website"Absolutely appalling.

Nice simple ice-skating rink, cash only. It's not fully enclosed so it can get cold. But you breath fresh air while skating. Heated changing rooms, public restrooms, free parking, few benches to sit down, and a soda vending machine. You can get a hot coffee or hot chocolate at the ticket window.November 2021 update: public skating sessions are back!!

This is a really cool place to skate. Just a really unique place. I feel quite spoiled after visiting. We practically had the place to ourselves. The indoor/outdoor nature means you get the outdoor skating experience without the rain, wind, snow and bad ice that can happen on open rinks. So very worth a visit.
