Jay and his staff are super knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and happy to get you whatever you need.
They're the perfect people to chat with about the nerdy gun stuff that none of your friends know about and your wife doesn't care about.
If you live anywhere close to here, the only reason to go to a different gun store is reloading equipment or a different selection of used firearms. However, Jay does get estate sales in so there's a decent variety.
This is what a gun shop should be.

You’re not going to find a better gun shop with more decent people than here, Jay is a great guy, his gunsmith is genius level, and they always have a huge selection of long guns, pistols, vintage, plenty of AR build components etc and they are extremely fair in pricing. Best gun shop in the area by far.

I've been going to Jay's for about 3 years now, and have been very satisfied with the customer service, information, and attentiveness I've always received there. I'm known and greeted by first name (most people are it seems), and always feel welcomed despite the current crowd size, whether it just be me, or me and 10 other people. Jay has always been very accommodating with transfers and will usually email you when they arrive- he'll also email you info you've been looking for or about guns that you've got on your radar. I've found his gun and accessory prices to always be fair, or very good too, even in 2023. Overall, a fantastic guy to do business with and cannot recommend highly enough.

The gun smith in the back Mr. Les was timely and amazing, was able to fix my .22 Mossberg 142-A and give it a good clean, definitely worth the money and the visit to the store. Store also has an amazing selection of Firearms and accessories would recommend stopping in 11/10.

Called 3 weeks before my wedding looking for decorative revolvers. Jay got ahold of 4 matching American made revolvers, set them up with a local engraving shop, conducted all transportation, then finally had them ready with a week to spare! Not only got me everything I wanted for my wedding but even sold everything for under MSRP. I’d give 6 stars if possible Jay has always been a fantastic resource for information. If you’re in the area and want to kill some time with a firearms enthusiast I can’t recommend any place more. Thank you Jay.

Lowest prices around. Even competitive with online prices which is hard to do for a retail shop. Jay is a great guy, very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me with my purchase all the way through and made sure I was fully informed on everything that I bought. Will definitely be my gun shop of choice from now on.

100% would recommend. I’ve seen him out competing magpul at their own inventory. The knowledge here is impeccable. I can tell he has many repeat customers. You would do yourself a favor to at least check it out

Just do not like the way he handles sales if you are selling your lucky to get a ticket by mail a week later .And parts swapping you may want to take detailed photos of you gun because of you decide to pick it up later you may find it's not the same slide or barrel .
