Officiated a wedding 9/24/2023 and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. A beautiful place with lots of room. I would recommend as a wedding venue, birthday party or an occasion where you need space!

I set out to put on a family ‘Shindig’ that would top all Shindigs - and guess what?I did! But only because of Rivermill at Dover Landing Catering and the most incredible, professional people there. It was a lawn party for 50 - 60, Kevin Sullivan’s crew set up beautiful tables with linens, China and glassware. They set up a complete bar and an outdoor kitchen for a perfectly prepared and presented barbecue.Servers took care of passing appetizers, tending to drinks, serving snd later cleaning.I did not lift a finger and simply could not believe what a glorious day it turned out to be. No worries whatsoever!Even the weather cooperated. After all the rain we’ve had all summer, we were even lucky enough to have sunshine!I can’t wait for another occasion to call Kevin and Christie!

Nice venue used by my family for a wedding. Staff was helpful and the building was pretty. It was a little rough inside like it was in need of some repairs, though.

A wonderful venue to hold a wedding, business function, party or social gathering. Rivermill is a beautiful location set within Dover's historic mills. The staff are friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Kevin and Starr.Not only did we love the space and the staff, I must add that Rivermill's partnership with Liberty Lane Catering makes booking an event even easier as you also have access to their catering. The food is incredible, really impressed with the vegan options. Planning the event was so much easier when everything can be coordinated from the venue: food, music, etc.Thank you so much for making our time at Rivermill truly special and memorable. We had an amazing time and received so many compliments from wedding guests

Christy the events planner is AMAZING. She stays EXTREMELY calm under pressure and I have yet to see anything really "get to her." The food that is served here I believe primary if not only through Liberty Lane Catering is amazing. Both chefs are awesome and take pride in their work. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue. It's beautiful outside and in.

Kevin and the Rivermill staff made our wedding day so special! Everything was perfect thanks to everyone's help and organization. We received so many compliments on how beautiful and well put together the venue was as well as how delicious the food was (and we couldn't agree more). They were so kind and flexible planning and re-planning our wedding over the pandemic. They are amazing at what they do!

We booked Rivermill for our Nov 10 wedding. It perfectly fit the vibe I was looking for and they were so accommodating with the decor look I wanted. They can also transform just outside the building into a cocktail hour setting (though it ended up being too cold/windy for us to utilize). Kevin was really nice and helpful throughout the planning process. They have complimentary valet and also were able to have a coat check for our guests. We also used the catering that comes with the venue, Liberty Lane, which was also amazing and were able to create delicious apps, entrees, and late-night snacks!! Originally, we were planning to have our ceremony elsewhere, but last minute weather changes caused us to move indoors to Rivermill. They were able to section off part of the room for the ceremony and I gotta say, I think it turned out more perfectly than if we'd held the ceremony outside at our original spot!! Would highly recommend!

Our daughter’s wedding was in September 2020. A crazy time to have a wedding . We went to see the Rivermill and met with Kevin and his wife. Their warm welcoming way made us know it was the right place for us. We all worked together to make sure it was safe for all our guests. The food was amazing, upscale, classy right down to the Mac & cheese barServed in martini glasses. Kevin worked well with our planner, photographer and us to make sure it was allPerfect for the wedding couple. An open bar with signature cocktails was a must for us as parents of the bride . We had heard nightmare stories about that at other venues. Not at River mill. Kevin and his staff’sHonest use of the consumption bar and keeping up with our thirsty guests, was amazing. Our guest list was just under 100 and a fun loving crazy group.Whether they were outside, playing corn hole, enjoying our cigar bar, at the high tops sipping a drink or inside dancing up a storm, all guests old and youngWe’re having a blast. The venue was easy to decorateAnd plenty of room inside and out for social distancing for the crazy time we are living in.Thanks to Kevin and his Liberty lane catering team for a perfect reception.
