My daughter Poppy has been taking lessons for a year or so and Pete is not only a great guitarist but clearly loves to teach. He is very patient and compassionate. I would highly recommend him to anyone who truly wants to learn.

I have been a student of Pete’s for almost two years now. After trying a couple of other local guitar instructors, I find Pete’s style, temperament, and overall approach to teaching to be the best for me. He’s teaching me lots of new things that include specific songs and solos, proper technique, chord progressions for different styles of music, scales, modes, alternate tunings, and various other things that combined are helping me to become a better guitar player. While keeping things fun he introduces music theory and related practice drills that help me to build the skill, precision, and knowledge needed to play and write all sorts of music including blues, rock, pop, and jazz. If you are looking for a guitar teacher in the Dover/NH Seacoast area I recommend that you give Pete a try. I think you’ll find his teaching abilities, personality, rates, and flexibility to your liking.

Several years ago my husband and I wanted to give our son, Andrew some guitar lessons as a gift. Andrew had been teaching himself and we felt he had a gift for it. We found Pete and Andrew excelled because we believe he had the right teacher. If you know of anyone that wants to take guitar lessons, Pete is definitely the person to go to. He's professional and will bring out the best in his students.

Pete's Guitar Studio has been top notch ever since I started playing guitar. I started my guitar playing with lessons through Pete's studio. I've been playing for three years, the first two I took lessons weekly with Pete. He is a great teacher. Very patient, talented, and well versed in many genres of music. I now play with a group of people and I feel that I am able to because of the experience through Pete's studio. Pete's Studio has been my choice for gear as well as all of my tech work on all of my guitars. I have recommended Pete to everyone I know, and many of those recommendations have either started lessons or go to Pete for setups, etc. Pete is my only choice and recommendation to anyone in the area.– Tim S.
