I have used CVS pharmacies in several locations in MA and NH. Recently their pharmacy service has gone down hill. They send me notices about filling prescriptions way before my prescriptions need to be filled. I believe this is an intentional attempt to generate more sales/$. Forget trying to speak with someone in the pharmacy, you must listen to an automated recording with a variety of unwanted options - and you still don’t get a live person. If you wait until near exhaustion sets in you’ll be told to provide your date of birth, etc. which the automated service will inevitably get wrong, so you have to start the entire useless call all over again. By then you are looking for Tylenol in your medicine cabinet to quell your CVS induced headache. I’m getting my prescriptions elsewhere. CVS sucks! They put profit before customer care!

Noticed they forgot to scan a bag of candy. There was a promotion buy one get one for a dollar. Went in to pay for the one they forgot, and they wanted to charge me full price. The store manager was no help and wanted to argue with me over candy. I ended up just having to walk away after returning the candy I did pay for.

Longtime CVS customer distressed by the corporate/management driven direction that CVS' service is going in. Grumpy surly overworked pharmacists and techs. Advertised COVID walk-ins online and in the store but no, refused. Email and text alerts to pickup scripts but not available in reality. Online is a nightmare as is telephone contact. This all smacks of management/corporate driven policy and practices. It has not always been this way. I used to feel good about the service and interactions with folks at CVS. I can not imagine front line employees wanting to be seen this way. What's going on Dover, New Hampshire CVS.

We have been going to this pharmacy since before they moved from their old Dover location. During that time, the service has been getting worse and worse. Prescriptions that are verified to be ready the day before, more often than not, are not ready when we get there. Also, when a prescription has to be renewed by the doctors office, we have to make multiple requests for them to finally get the renewal. At first we didn't know whether it was CVS or the doctor's office that was the problem, but the response from our various doctors is always "we called that in days ago". The common factor in all of these cases is CVS. All of this has been going on for a while now. One last comment. Most of the employees at this location seem to be overworked and frazzled. If I had to make a guess I would say this is a management issue, not the fault of the employees.

Steph T from the pharmacy is extremely rude. overheard her be extremely rude and unprofessional toward customers. After a customer asked for help from her she walked back to the pharmacy saying “you really needed a certified technician to find that?” while swinging her arms side to side.

Called to see if my prescription was ready, she said no, then told me it was $500 because I had no insurance, when I tried to give her my insurance information she interrupted me and said they had it on file and that it would be zero dollars. I asked her when I should come in to pick up and she hung up on me. Lots of heavy sighing, interrupting, and sass. I was more than polite to her. If you’re wondering which delightful pharmacist this was it’s a blonde lady but I couldn’t catch her name tag when I was in line. But I’m sure you all know who that would be. I doubt I’m alone in this uncalled for treatment. Why bother coming here when there are countless other pharmacies that don’t employ butt heads?

I called because they had a question for a med I’ve been on for 10 years. They need to speak to my dr first. I take 30mg (1.5 of a 20mg) d/t it not being available my dr ordered 3 10mg. Very VERY simple math? Right? Well still not filled AND I was treated very rudely and HUNG up on mid sentence!!! Absolutely no need of it I was given this lame situation over 15 seconds, and then hung up with!! I know they are busy but it’s not like I was taking much time. Literally the call was 10 to 15 seconds before I was hung up on ! So now I need to figure out what to do because I need the medication and I now have to have my doctor call them so I hope they’re embarrassed that they can’t do simple math mind you I do not use insurance so it’s not an insurance issue.Furthermore, I’m a registered nurse and I have a serious condition that I need my medication for so Really it’s no joke and I don’t need to be harassed when I need my medication. What is there to squabble about the doctor ordered it, so that’s what he wants so why do we need to talk to him again and verify that’s what he wants. It’s so simple that it’s infuriating! We have to wait for him to call to say Yep that’s what I ordered same thing. She always takes just a different make up of the same medication duh.

Man, I used to love CVS. Now I only go there if I'm picking up a DoorDash order. I find the inside set up oddly and quite confusing. All snacks should be in the snack aisle, if something is considered a snack, put it in the snack aisle. Candy? Put it in the candy aisle. Makes it very difficult to find anything, however, I will say that the staff at this CVS and others are usually super helpful and almost always know where I can find what I need.

Always a great experience shopping at my local Dover, NH CVS. The store is always clean and well stocked. Associates always have a ready smile. And the coupons and extra bucks are so fun to use and to watch the total cost keep dropping.

Been coming here for a long time, and want to express my appreciation for the whole pharmacy team! I know their jobs aren’t easy and have witnessed many a customer take their frustration with doctors/insurance companies out on the staff, but they are always so patient and friendly and efficient. It really does make a difference to know that I can count on seeing smiling faces when I stop in!

I switched my pharmacy from Walgreens to CVS and couldn't have made a better choice! I'm so relieved that now when I go to pick up my prescriptions that they CALLED AND SAID WERE READY WILL BE READY! And no more waiting DAYS for prescriptions to be refilled that I've had refilled for YEARS. Walgreens just majorly EATS BUTT big time
