75 Oak St, Dover“Such an enjoyable and colorful shopping experience with a great/thoughtful selection of super cute stuff. I am drawn to the cards but found so much more. Really great to have tons of independent artists' work on the walls (and for sale), as well. I have wanted to visit for a long time and am so glad I finally made the trip!”
“What a great store! Love all the local items, especially the covers for light switches (we have the loon one). Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for your Portsmouth visit! I’m going again next time I’m in town.”
“Really welcoming and wholesome environment. I love the new ED, think she's making some great changes. I go to Portsmouth from Manchester because she has made the space feel more welcoming and hip with it.I look forward to more opportunities in the future to engage with the site.”
“My family and I traveled to Portsmouth for the day and stopped in the Kennedy Gallery. It’s a beautiful shop with a wonderful array of artists’ work available. We ended up buying three pieces! The ladies were incredibly warm and welcoming and even went out of their way to gift our daughter and her friend with some canvas boards when they expressed an interest in art. If you’re visiting Portsmouth, make sure you pay a visit to the Kennedy Gallery!”
“The KAA is a wonderful community of artists, makers, and art supporters! The gallery and shop at 2 Walker Street in Kittery serves as a cultural HUB for rotating exhibits, receptions, workshops, artist talks, and more! They also offer a scholarship program to Traip Academy Seniors pursuing studies in the fine arts.Stop in to check out what this amazing organization has to offer!”
“Small but cool spot, RJD2 sold out when some friends we were with tried to get tickets at the door. Good little venue, place to hang up jackets which is nice, bar is full and moves pretty quickly, bathrooms clean and easy to get to.”
“Don is an amazing artist. His woodcuts are incredible . He is a master colorist. He is generous with his time and is a local treasure. We are lucky to have him in Portsmouth and Gloucester.”
“I have had multiple pieces of art framed by Jon and Sue and the quality of the work is exceptional. The used museum glass to minimize reflection. I appreciate their patience and guidance with me. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you!”

39 Ceres St, Portsmouth“Beautiful gallery with so much talent in it. Todd himself is an amazing artist, and I love going there frequently to see his work as well as the featured artists that fill the space with color and emotions.”

53 Market St, Portsmouth“I never get tired of going into this gallery because there are so many beautiful, interesting and creative items to see. They have sublime fine crafts of all kinds -- jewelry, original paintings, prints, furnishings, glass, pottery, sculptures, clothing, etc. There's a sepia print of the HMS Bounty done by a local artist as a tribute to the famed ship that I was particularly enticed by. Also, the Portsmouth Upstairs Gallery is above the Barrett Gallery and has original fine art with an emphasis on nautical paintings.”
“Lovely collection of small business, deducting one star because of the godawful dolphin pictures taped all over one of the bathroom stalls. It’s giving elementary school make it stop.”
“I had a great experience here during the Christmas season picking out a gift for my daughter. She wanted a slightly oversized cream colored fishermen's sweater and it was a little tricky figuring out the right size for her. The sales woman I worked with was very friendly and helpful, and in the end we ended up with the perfect fit. I'll totally be back. They had a wide range of items, some expected and others more unique. I'd say it was totally worth the trip to check it out, I know I'll be back.”
“This is one of those fantastic local businesses that I worry fade away because everyone takes it for granted.
We stopped in for a specific item. It unfortunately wasn't available. But did find a cool garlic holder.
Please stop by and support this special pottery place.
Keep them in mind for birthdays, holidays. Anniversaries, house warming or to spoil yourself.”
