Won't even give you cash change breaking money.... yikes America where did it go. That's embarrassing you've become so profit hungry or is the currency different per company from the Federal Reserve. You are local should deal local regardless. You were founded on helping the working class. But can't even break money for the working class....oh you need a account to do that....luckily another ACTUALLY local bank was more obliged to help

I have experienced nothing but great service out of the East Broadway Santander Bank for the last couple of years they my accounts they’ve handled when my accounts have gotten hacked even was with me completely through my divorce worked with me through all of my problems with my banking online …banking …my loans …I could not ever leave Santander bank because of that branch .They are managed and are the best people in banking in Derry

On 9/19/23 I attempted to cash a business check at the Derry New Hampshire branch. The teller explained to me that since my New Hampshire i.d. was the temporary version she would be unable to cash my check. She then asked me if I had an account, I said that I did not so she explained that she could not cash it either way. She did request that the bank manager come over to see if she could offer any help. I explained the situation and she told me that since I did not have an account, they would be unable to cash my check. I then said that I would like to open an account, the bank manager responded "we are not going to cash that check for you just because you opened an account today". I don't understand how my state i.d. is good enough for state to use but not a bank.

I went here because Santander was one of my brother's banks. I tried to deposit a bank's check into his account. The teller and head teller said I couldn't deposit the check without his signature. He lives in another state, and if I could get his signature I didn't need to deposit it myself. They didn't bother to call his phone number that they had on file to get authorization from him for me to deposit into his account. When I called back to leave a message asking if they could do that, whoever answered the phone mistook me for someone else talking about a safe deposit box. When I told them that they got the wrong person, they said they would take down the message for the head teller to call me back. They never called me back. They also made me feel like a fraud or criminal when I was at their branch.

The folks here worked diligently to help my family and I open an account for our family trust. They're professional, friendly, helpful, and effective.I've been with Santander for about 10 years and have never had an issue with them. Their credit card option is also very competitive with higher cash back rewards than most on the market. I also love the easy to use app, customer service line has always been great, branches are taken care of. Overall a great choice for personal and business banking.

Terrible bank. Not friendly or helpful.Makes cashing a check difficult, even when the check is draw off their bank. The tellers make you feel like a criminal.Don't do banking here!

No stars ideally. Santander severely limits wire transfer amounts, supposedly in our best interest but in reality they make it very difficult to securely move money out of their bank. Also, they make husband and wife use different pin numbers on the exact same account, and they force you to have one pin number for web access and a different pin number for telephone access (e.g. password resets.) Finally, for at least 10 years, they put monthly statements into the US Mail for FREE. Now they charge us for paper reports! In short, Santander is messy, they nickel-and-dime you to death, and they are hard-to-do-business with. AVOID SANTANDER!!

Great people in this location. They are never rude or ignore you. Building needs some updates but it's clean and in good repair. Parking is easy in the rear or on the street. Drive thru ATM is behind Cumberland Farms.
