BUYER BEWARE. Honestly if I could go back in time and slap myself for trusting this place I would. The salesman doesn’t know if there are issues with these cars or not. This place is a gamble and they don’t allow the car to be taken off the lot for a test drive or to go take it to mechanic (which should have been a clear sign to look elsewhere!). While the salesman was sort of friendly, the only thing they are transparent about is that the cars you buy from this place are an “as is” purchase. Meaning you could be like me and inherit what you thought was a good car, only to have it break down a few weeks later to find a plethora of issues that a mechanic tells you its not worth repairing because of the cost to fix (pics below). Don’t be fooled by the warranty either, it doesn’t cover anything. Would not recommend unless you like taking risks, at which case I would reccomend a casino cause at least then you’d have a slim chance of making your money back!

I gave three stars, because that is about accurate. I will be honest with everyone reading this, I neither "like" nor "dislike" this place. I'm in between. I bought a vehicle here, a week ago, and I will say, I brought it to my mechanic, and it isn't in "HORRIBLE" condition, but it certainly isn't in great condition either. It is going to take a few thousand dollars to get it right. But nonetheless, my mechanic said to me, the vehicle is absolutely worth it. It threw a check engine light a few days after buying and driving it (kinda soon) but I saw it eventually coming. I brought it to my mechanic, and he told me the code is for a misfire. That's not terrible and it isn't an expensive fix, either. It needed a couple of other things as well, all minor. The vehicle is free from leaks, it starts, runs and is drivable. This even in the shape it was in before needing work. I mean, it is a wholesale dealership, I do know that, and I am aware of that. I just wish they got cars that were in a little bit better shape, looking at their reviews from other people, I kinda went "ehhhhhhhhh" at first when I went to buy this one. But it really wasn't all that bad. They did tell me that it will need work and were honest there. They never pressured me into buying it. They never hounded me when I went to look. They were fairly nice during the buying process. I definitely think they should get a shop and look these things over. It would be better for them. These are unsafe, auction bought cars. They all need something. You take a chance with cars like these, so you have to know what you're walking into. I will keep what I bought until it dies. I can absolutely make my money back on selling it private sale. If I sell it before I run it into the ground. It is just going to be a winter beater for me. I will eventually move on from it and get something better. Would I recommend these guys? I would, only with the understanding that you're going to have to spend some money on repairs. You won't get anything here that is in perfect, "plug and play" condition. Thanks for an ok vehicle, J's.EDIT: On January 19, 2024, my vehicle took a NH state inspection sticker. I absolutely love my vehicle too. It is a comfortable and sweet ride. The AWD is probably my favorite part of the whole vehicle.Thank you again! I am not sure I would do the wholesale car buying again, but if this was my first and last time doing it, I would say I made out alright, after all! Here are some photos of the vehicle I bought at Jay's and the inspection sticker, that was put on Friday afternoon. It needed just a few things for inspection but was fairly inexpensive to fix.

My friend went and bought a Cadillac srx- no test driving on roads - no state inspections - well my friend is older gentleman and couldn’t get to look under car for rustAfter driving car home - drivers side rear control arm is completely rotted out ! And the transmission won’t shift when it should - It bucks in 4 th gear ! Guy tells you it’s from the auction and don’t fix anything -So buyers beware - it’s my friends fault the owner didn’t twist is arm to buy it -So bring a mechanic if you don’t know anything about cars

Called ahead to arrange test drive of a specific car…..drove one hour to test drive said car…..arrived to be told said car had flat tire and test drive not an option. If there was a choice for less than one star I’d take it. Stay away!

Terrible place to look at cars, found a bmw online there and description said no major problems or anything wrong, drove 45 mins to see the car, got in it clutch was blown out, and the salesman claimed it was locked brakes, so i put the car in first gear and let the clutch out and the engine didnt even stall out or buck and would not move, if the brakes were locked the car wouldve stalled out tells me the clutch and transmission is so blown out to the point where it wont even engage, i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, im shocked they are even in business, terrible place take your money elsewhere this place sells lemons and they try to hide the fact the cars are messed up

As a 73 year old retired mechanic and used car salesman I knew what I was looking for. Found a Jeep Liberty at half the price of other lots. J's owner is a great person to do business with. No B.S. or high pressure. Nobody will hover you while you're there. Please bring a good mechanic with you cause wholesale as is means exactly that for anyone who buys a car in the live free or die state Great deals on good cars. I highly recommend J's Auto.

Went car shopping about a week went to 4 or 5 different places before coming across this place loved that you didn’t have someone up your neck the whole time and you were able to take your time looking at the cars! Super easy and fast process! Took the car home the same day and I’m loving it ! Thank you! I will definitely recommend

Went there very unwelcoming and the guy was very unhelpful. I went on the website and found a lot of nice vehicles in the price range that would work. On the website I thought I read the cars were ready and when I went there I was told something different. Not a good experience. I would not buy anything nor tell people to go to this car dealer because the information online and in person are conflicting and the car salesman has no sales experience or experience in selling vehicles . They wasted my time and gas going there ! ?
