Not very communicative. I was referred by a coworker who has been a long time client, color me unimpressed. I knew my return would be late, but dropped it off in early April. I was contacted by Matt on April 15th the last day to file an extension about information needed to process my return. I called the next day and was informed they were closed. I tried the following day and was told he left for 2 weeks vacation and did not leave any note as to what kind of information was requested from me in order to process my return. I informed the receptionist Kim, I work nights and the best time to reach me several times which was ignored as there was constant phone tag it seemed being played. I eventually did get a hold of Jonathan via email and a few times I managed to be awake on my day off. That being said, it's now half way through July, and I've suffered a few setbacks on other bills as I've not had this year's tax information, and just received my return still not e-filed with the IRS today. Can't help but wonder if I should've just filed it on my own if it would've been processed sooner despite knowing I was making errors,hence why I sought the professional help in the first place. Either way, I'm not recommending, nor will I return next year.

I have been a client here for twelve years. I have never run into any problems until now. My tax paperwork was received at their office on March 6. I always sent my tax paperwork the first week in March. I then find out they cannot guarantee it will get done by April 15. I was told the cut off was March 4. I was disappointed but there was nothing I could have done. I was not aware of the March 4th cut off time. In the future it might be nice to let your returning clients know a head of time.
It took them seven weeks to complete my tax return. I kept emailing to check the status of the return. I either got no response or excuses. They let me know prior to April 15th that I owed a payment to the state. I authorized them to make the payment with my account number. They said they would and they never did. I now owe interest on it.
JAG should be embarrassed that it took them seven weeks to complete a simple tax return. Their lack of communication is despicable. I would not recommend this firm to anybody.

I've found my forever accountant. I never thought I'd say that, but Jonathan is amazing. He's responsive, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I feel more confident in my business tax management, and I know that he's got my back for personal tax returns, too. Honestly, if you're looking for an amazing tax accountant, JAG CPA LLC is your best bet.

This was my first time having someone complete my taxes. I had some unique charitable contributions this year that needs some research, so I thought a professional would be my best option. I found the experience to be very straight forward and easy. I'm very confident in Jonathan's ability to answer my questions and complete my taxes with the most favorable outcome possible. The process took less time than I thought it would so I should be receiving my refund sooner than expected. I would definitely use JAG CPA again in the future.
