“One of the best experiences ever going to an out-of-town veterans post we were visiting North Conway there was no local VFW open. At this time. We gave them a call and ask them they were open we explain to them the situation wanted to come and have a cocktail I am a life member of the women's auxiliary and my husband is a Vietnam veteran. And asked if we could come down and have a drink because there's no Vfw open local. The bartender her name was Jojo she said hold on a second to check with someone in the bar at that time when you found out later the woman's name was Deb she offered to use her membership to sign us in as guests. We headed down there by an hour after we call them because we found out they had no food and we didn't wanna drink without eating the place was amazing they had really friendly people they had some thing called the pull tabs which is like a scratch lottery ticket we got some of those bought some tickets for their weekly drawing that they have everyone is super friendly it's my birthday month they noticed it was my birthday and they would be open to happy birthday how you're doing very welcomingReally one of the best experiences we've ever had. We were invited to go back on Friday nights July 29 again they had a band a live band with no cover charge to invite us come back and listen to the band for a while have a drink feel welcome. I feel like this was really a good time to our vacation because other things did not seem to work in the area.”
“I adopted a pup and they were so helpful! The process for adoption was simple and we bought the dog home about an hour later. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Thank you CAHS giving Mejo, formally know as Prince, a safe temporary home.”
“They took such good care of my kitten! I was really nervous to drop him off for the day to get neutered, but as soon as I walked in, I felt at ease by how kind and caring these women are. Everyone in the office was wonderful, and my kitten is recovering fabulously!”
