Where's the zero star?!
I recently had a very disappointing experience at Shaw's grocery store... I purchased several products, only to discover that they were significantly past their expiration dates—some by over four months. This is unacceptable for any grocery store.
To make matters worse, the process of getting a refund for the expired items was a nightmare. It took over a month to receive my money back, and during that time, I had to dispose of the products, which felt like a waste.
Overall, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. I won't be returning to Shaw's again. Quality control and customer service need serious improvement.

Lots of out of stock items, expired yogurt, and the deli closes at 6pm. Employees are nice and helpful though.

The employee's are time and again consistently rude. I'm so tired of putting up with it I now drive across town to Hannaford.

Every time I walk into shaws I'm always shocked by how much more their charging than every other grocery store. Who chooses to pay these prices?? The digital coupons never work right, huge scam. Check your receipts!

Store brand Organics chicken broth was water and my “organic “scallions are slimy inside ruined my dinner . I called this place and the manager told me to just bring in my receipt and to have a good night ,Really ??!! I’m very disappointing SHAWS !

I went in today. Irene was there and she could see I needed help. She helped and was kind. When I was ringing out a fake item wasn't coming up. Irene once again came to the rescue. She pushed the sale through knowing I was in a rush. She had an awesome smile on here face. Amazing customer service.Thank you IreneFrom the Big bearded Guy

Took me 3 times ever going to Shaw's to realize it's so overpriced compared to Hannaford or Market Basket. Hannaford is even nicer than Shaw's yet somehow cheaper. The staff at Hannaford are way nicer and willing to help. Shaw's whole customer base is old people or those who don't want to drive an extra minute or 2 for cheaper prices.For example, Shaw's sells this pre seasoned ground chicken for $7.50 a pound when Market Basket sells it for $4.99 a pound. Hannaford sells fresh mozzarella for $6 a pound and Shaw's sells it for $9.95 a pound. As you can see they're hugely inflated prices, not just small amounts.
