The Presciption Center is one of the best pharmacies and compounding pharmacies that are in New England. The pharmacy technicians are one the best in the state. Always willing to go above and beyond and never losing that home town feel. The Prescription Center is the only pharmacy that I would ever recommend to the prople I love.If I was asked what is the single most thing that I like about The Presscription Center, it would be a toss-up between how knowledgeable they are, and how caring the are. They truely care about their customers well-being. And they bring modern medicine into the 21st-century.

We have a 13 year old tea cup Chihuahua with reactive airway disease and mitral valve disease. We asked her cardiologist to transfer her compounded medications to the compounding pharmacy inside The Prescription Center in Concord. This used to be Bedford Pharmacy. We happily used Bedford Pharmacy in the past for compounded meds for our cats. This time around we've had a few issues. They tell us their texting app will let us know when meds are ready. We signed up. No texts received. We had to call. At that point we were told the app is super slow. Sure enough, days after we already picked up the meds it texted to say they were ready. Despite this we were managing via phone calls. However on the 26th of December we called in and used the automated refill line to request more of her Lasix, furosemide, a diuretic. We did this far enough in advance that they would have time to refill despite the holidays, and we would not run out until January 5th. We heard NOTHING. I called in on. January 2 and was told with Christmas and New Year they were backed up several days and would not have it ready until January 8. Ok, I understand. But a phone call to notify me they would not be refilling the med in time would have been very appropriately professional. I called MASSVET and had all of our dog's meds refilled there, except one because there are still two refills available with The Prescription Center. It is worth it to me to have to drive to Woburn MA to pick up her meds because they will be ready on time. I am not going to risk my dog developing congestive heart failure by running out of her Lasix because The Prescription Center failed to fill the refill in a timely manner and failed to notify me they would not succeed. Other than this important issue, The Prescription Center is fine. It is clean and neat inside, the staff are friendly, the parking in the rear of the building is ample. Perhaps if I give them three weeks notice for a refill they would succeed. I will never know because I won't risk our dog's health.

I’m so impressed with this place, they have quality low-dose naltrexone which is fantastic, their prices are fair, and they were really fast.

I have never had a good experience here, and I don’t know anyone who has. A while back I tried to pick up some nicotine gum, and was refused because I did not have a prescription (their reasoning despite me present with a valid ID, are called the PRESCRIPTION center). The last straw was when a friend of mine tried to return a $75 cane that was unused. They refused to refund her the money due to a couple of finger nail sized scratches likely caused from the initial shipment to the store. It is still wrapped in plastic with tags on. Everyone that works here clearly hates their job. They make that very apparent. Do yourself a HUGE favor and take your business elsewhere .

BE AWARE of getting durable medical equipment, namely compression stockings from The Prescription Center (TPC). They are an in-network provider with our insurance but will NOT submit claims for this item (and who knows what else). Our insurance will not reimburse us because we used an in-network provider. It is against the insurance company policy for TPC to be an in-network provider and not submit claims to the insurance company. Great way to screw your customers, TPC!! Please double check with your insurance before purchasing anything from The Prescription Center.

Prescription Center used to be good. Unfortunately, not anymore, things have changed and it's sad to see local business provide such a poor costumer service. Employees are not helpful at all, when you ask them to check on something they are not willing to do that, I'm sorry but it looks like laziness to me, and they become upset that you as a costumer are asking them, or they find excuses why they are not able to provide the information you are asking for. Please, go somewhere where you will feel that employees are genuinely carrying about, and are willing to help you.

We rented a wheelchair for 6 days last June and returned it. Starting in august, we started to get letters from a collection agency saying we owed hundreds of dollars. I’ve called once a month when the letters arrived to say I received another letter. The answer I get is to ignore it, they have a new billing system and it will not go to collections. I would imagine there are elderly folks who get the letter and pay it although the woman on the phone assured me that they all call and they are told to ignore it. I highly doubt they are following it that closely considering I was just told for the 5th month in a row that my order has been closed out. When I asked if they could just wipe me out of their system she said no because “it’s medical”…..Again, rented a wheelchair for 6 days in June ‘22!!!!!

I have never had so much trouble getting prescriptions filled in my life. I gave up trying when they couldn't fill my diabetes meds and testing equip. for 4 days !! I transfered everyrhing to another pharmacy and 3 hours after the transfer my prescriptions were in my hands. Uncoordinated and incompetent. Avoid this pharmacy.

Visiting the prescription center is always a great experience. I pick up my prescription monthly and each month they are very friendly and helpful! Compared to my previous experiences at CVS or RiteAid, the prescription center makes visiting the pharmacy a pleasant experience!

I've been working at EncompassHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Concord as a therapist for 25 years. My coworkers, and me order medical equipment for patients from different providers in NH without having costumer service issues. Many of us, including me now, WILL NOT order from Prescription Center because some of their staffing is simply rude, to be specific Kaitlin on the phone, and a delivery person. Costumer service they provide is below what would be consider acceptable level. I'll provide just one example, and you can pull your own conclusions. While I was trying to explain my order, Kaitlin started talking in the middle of my sentence, I asked her to let me finish but she would not. She was talking over me without stoping! I simply hang up and will not order from them again. There are other DME companies whos employees know what costumer service should look like.

This place is complete trash. I've had nothing but problems with them and their delivery system. We have used this pharmacy for my daughter's compounded prescription for about a year now. They decided to use snail mail for a refrigerated medication in 80+ degree weather and that's where I finally drew the line. Steer clear of this place if you can or just don't use their delivery system.

Rudest staff I have EVER experienced. I visited the store yesterday - Friday, July 1st - looking to fill a prescription for a boot for my husband. When I walked in the store I saw 4 staff members. It took awhile for anyone to greet me or even acknowledge that there was a customer standing in the store. When I was finally greeted, I showed a woman behind the counter the doctor’s prescription for a tall cam boot for my husband. She asked me if I had insurance and I showed her my military ID (which is my insurance card). She wasn’t sure if they accepted my insurance or not so she asked a fellow coworker. The other coworker said no, they do not accept my insurance. Without any other useful information, I asked how much the boot would cost without insurance. The staff chuckled and told me $375. I then asked if there was anywhere else that has medical supplies in the area. They reluctantly told me to try Keene Medical to see if they accepted my insurance. As I was collecting my personal items to leave, the entire staff was joking and laughing that I could come back with a loan if I could not find another place. I’m absolutely disgusted by how rude the staff was. To laugh at a customer and tell them to get a loan for $375? Horrible customer service. Horrible treatment of an injured member of our US Army. Definitely would not recommend anyone deal with this business.
