If I could rate them lower, I would. We were living in New Hampshire and had a planned move to AL. We booked service with the company 4-5 months ago and had everything confirmed. The plan was to have the team come one day to pack and then another day to finish packing and load the truck.Come the day before packing, I received a call asking for permission to have the team come one day only instead of two. I granted this permission on the basis everything was completed as we were leaving town on Friday. On Thursday, the team arrived an hour late and with only 2 men. The team told us that the dispatch team did not want to spend money to have them come out on Wednesday and had given them the day off. I then received a phone call after the team started working on Thursday from dispatch asking to finish Friday morning and I told Hans, no, we were leaving on Friday.Hans, the dispatcher, then proceeded to call my apartment complex and ask them for access. This is completely unacceptable from a client perspective. After I told my apartment no and Hans no, I then received a phone call from the local company "owner". They said they had issues from rain to heat to operational errors and could not commit to more people or that they would be able to finish on Friday. He was extremely rude and abrupt while offering zero solutions other than asking us to change our travel plans to accommodate the company. These are just the highlights from the story and not to mention we had to move our own boxes and take a couch down the stairs to move on time. The fact that we paid the team almost $10,000 to essentially move ourselves is astounding. There was zero accountability and multiple service failures. After all of this, they changed our move from direct to indirect causing us a delay in receiving our items and only notified us 1 day in advance removing any opportunity to change companies. To say will ensure no one we know uses this company is an understatement.

I recently had all my furniture and household goods moved from Nashua to Merrimack NH.It was daunting to interview various moving companies until I talked to McGlaughlin Transportation Systems Company.They immediately put me at ease and understood the tension of what my wife and I were going through.We hired them and had a wonderful experience, the moving team were professional and organized and went above and beyond my expectations.The Move Coordinator, Lori Bellavance, was on top of everything and made sure I was aware of all timing and pickup & delivery schedules. Well done team. ?

Everyone at Mclaughlin Transport was very helpful and courteous, even with my impatience and stress-induced repeated emails and phone calls. The two movers that packaged and transported my belongings were very personable and took great care of everything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to my friends or family.

I highly recommend McLaughlin Transportation.We moved from Washington state to New Hampshire through United Van Lines and that was the worst experience my wife and I have ever had to endure. They were terrible! Crushed boxes, damaged items, boxes with no numbers etcThey miss judged the load before us so they had to ship about half our load separately in crates, McLaughlin Transportation received what was shipped separately. McLaughlin Transportation was the best part of the whole move to New Hampshire, they arrived on time and we're polite and did a nice job unloading.I highly recommend McLaughlin Transportation and I would discourage anyone from using United Van Lines. Read the reviews about United Van Lines they do not have a good track record. I wish I had read them before using them.Dave S

McLaughlin Mayflower handled our long distance move to NC. They were great with communication during planning, estimating and the move process. Loading and unloading was done quickly, efficiently, and carefully. The price was good too - in fact we received a refund due to lower weight than estimated. Couldn't ask for a smoother move!

Do yourself a favor and hire anyone but this office of Mayflower Transit. I had a terrible experience on every level. Lack of communication between account manager, dispatch and driver. Multiple handling of my belongings after I was assured that it would be handled only once. A disrespectful and demeaning driver upon pickup, and at times took an aggressive tone. Had to stop the truck in the driveway as they were pulling out to have them pick up their lunch trash that was in the front lawn. I talked with the account manager about the entire situation, he understood but had no power to do anything but listen. Talked with the owner's wife who handles customer relations… she listened and understood but did absolutely nothing to even attempt to remedy the situation. Actually, I really don't think she even cared. The entire operation out of this location from my perspective is inefficient, mismanaged and their drivers/movers have no business dealing with the public. Moving is stressful enough and the sole purpose of hiring a moving company is to reduce stress, unfortunately this was not the case with Mayflower Transit. Please do your homework (more than I did) in hiring a moving company and do yourself a favor and steer clear of Mayflower Transit.
