Amazing staff. Clean and organized shelves. Felt a little lost while looking for something but was quite satisfied with the visit overall.

Went to Lowe’s to purchase a portable air conditioner. Carrie assisted us at self checkout, answered all of the questions that we had, and told us about the rewards program & helped us sign up. Great experience!

I love hardware stores they are the adult toy stores and I love them. What I do not appreciate is the old men that work in the store automatically assume that you are some punk and treat you accordingly. I don't understand how another human can treat another human like that!!! I would never assume because someone looks a certain way that I'm going to talk down to them or treat them like they are not worth my time. And it made me feel horrible and I should not feel like I was not helped to the best of the employees ability and on top of it I had to find the sizes of the skillsaw blades myself and then I had to let the employee know that he, in fact, did have the correct size blade. So I told him that he did and did not purchase anything because of how rude the employee was to me and my friend. So hopefully this employee learned to not be bias, mostly because I usually enjoy my experience at Lowe's and it really bothered me that I was treated like this.

What can I say? Today I was reminded why I bleed orange. Came to Lowe’s (Concord) and was first rudely spoken to by Joe at the pro desk/lumber end for asking about a package of R13 pink panther insulation that he threw outside (with some force). I asked if it was marked down being’s the condition it was in and how he was handling it. His response no it’s trash. To which I said ok and went to get a lumber cart near where the torn bag of insulation was. At this point he screamed after me as if I was a 5 year old “don’t touch it please”. -I’m a 35 year old adult- don’t need to be spoken to like this. I said I was simply getting a cart and got no response…. Anyway after that did my shopping. Had to back track a few times as other employees seemed to have no clue where certain items were in the store. Finally get to check out. Had 2 different transactions I had to do because I was buying for myself and my 70 year old mother. Women at check out very nice, however had to put my card in 3 times due to the fact that 2 of the PVC trim pieces were missing labels and couldn’t be found in the computer. My mother finally walked to the other side of the store to get a replacement with a label. Overall we went through this horrific experience and saved $5.00. My advice… skip this place and drive the extra mile up to Home Depot. As That is what I plan on doing from now on. Other Lowe’s locations are great. This one horrible.

Scott in lumber was very helpful and courteous. Really made my experience easy and made me want to come back (and no I am not just leaving him a good review because we share a first name ?)

I was very disappointed in the potting soil I recently ordered thru Instacart. It was very wet and chunky and dried very hard. I discarded both bags.

I love Lowe’s they usually have everything I’m looking for in a store of this kind however the employees are somewhat not up to par .. certain depts have workers that don’t know the products that they are trying to sell in their dept which is not helpful when they ask you can if they help you with something .. they have others that do. The one thing I am unhappy with is the judgement I get when I walk into the store and especially when I’m just looking around. I’m homeless so I do carry a backpack with me. This however I guess makes the think I’m going to shoplift from them. The staff tends to follow me around, pretending to work (inventory) when they are secretively watching my every move. I have never shoplifted in my life, never will .. but I don’t think that because I have a backpack on is a reason to be stalked in a sense in the store.. the backpack is no different then some women’s large size purses. So I don’t see the need for judging on their part .. this local store has a worker at night who every time I’m in there has to follow me around watch everything I do double check items I put back on the shelf , it’s ridiculous .. even though he has seen me every time on multiple occasions paying for the items I take off the shelf. The looks I get from the checkout area like wow they have cash or wow they paying by card.. it’s rude and disrespectful.. I don’t judge the for them working at Lowe’s, so don’t judge me .

Now I remember why I stopped shopping Lowe's. Self checkouts are just plain dumb and slow. 20 minutes for one item because people in front of me struggled finding UPC codes. Ridiculous! Never these issues in Home Depot ?
