On 9/20/23 my propane tank was filled with 35.2 gallons. At this time the technician stated the tank had to be replaced because bobber in the tank was faulty (which tells me how much propane I have left in my tank). After calling for a few weeks to schedule an appointment to have the tank replaced we finally confirmed an appointment but it was rescheduled a few times before actually being replaced. On 11/15/23 Irving came by and delivered 35.6 gallons (after the tank had been installed the previous day). How could it be that we need to pay again since the tank we had before it was replaced was near full? Irving as the wonderful company they claim to be should have replenished what was in my old tank into my new tank which is near full and they did not do that. Since this tank is only used for stove cooking and according to other propane companies I have called around and asked, a tank used for what we use it for lasts between 9-12 months before needing to be filled again.I spoke to Lauren (she has been our main contact with Irving) in customer service on 11/20/23 after I requested to speak to a manager and she promised me a manger would call me back by end of business day but they did not -Don’t make a promise you can’t keep. I still have not received a call from her manager to get this resolved. This company has been a nightmare to do business with and stays in business by stealing from customers.Irving as a whole company are thieves and scam artists. Do not do business with this company use another local reputable company instead.

I wish I could explain how bad Irving really is!! The worse in every aspect, customer service is a joke and the company as a whole is horrible to work with. Stay away and if you have them switch as soon as possible.

Irving Energy has been a great company to do business with. My oil deliveries are always on time, and the discount Irving gives me at their Irving gas stations are very helpful. I've had nothing but great experiences with Irving. We plan on being with Irving for long term.

Absolutely aweful we are going 6 days past our original delivery date. Without heat this whole time. Calling daily being told it will be here by end of day not to mention I now have to wait around for them so they can relight the pilot. Using space heaters this long is going to kill my electric bill. Nevermind we already paid for the delivery. Totally unacceptable and nevermind wrong

Absolutely terrible. Failed to deliver twice in the first year I was with them. Now they're overcharging me but it will cost AT LEAST $180 for one of their clowns to check the tanks.

I've been with Irving for more than 10 years. Yes, they make some mistakes, but they're a very good company. Today Mark fixed a mistake promptly, and he was so calming and professional. Their drivers have been courteous and we can count on them. And thanks Sherry for years of pre-buy contracts we count on.

I have been with Irving for a long time. They are a great company. They always there to help me and very kind. They are honest and value their customers. Nothing in life is perfect but having someone listen and work with you in this world is big and they do this.

Extra charges for service calls, poor communication and they completely take advantage of customers for any repairs

I contacted Irving in August about removing my small propane tank and installing a underground tank next to a new garage I am building. Appointments were weeks out and they came to evaluate the site on September 28th. I had already run a new line to the house, installed the tubing and had it inspected. The hole for the tank was already excavated. Only the trench to the new generator location remained. I called about a week later and the install was scheduled for October 19th. One tech arrived with the tank and setting the tank took no time at all. Later that day the install technician arrived but he didn't have the correct parts. I had also decided to run a new line into the garage and I needed to excavate that trench. He ran the line to the generator pad and left the coil to run into the structure. He assured me that once I called they would be right out. However when I did the appointment I was given an appointment weeks away on December 3rd. In the meantime we got a large rainstorm and the tank floated so it would need to be reset. When there was no call the night before I was suspicious yet in the morning when I checked they were still coming. They never showed and when I called they said they were short staffed and they would need to reschedule. Instead of getting promptly, I was given a new appointment on January 14th. In other words, I was put at the back of the line. I have not mentioned it but due to the old tank not being removed I have been prevented from running power to the new structure and today's rain has caused the new tank to completely float and the earth under the old one is starting to collapse as it was partially excavated to run the new line. This has been the worst experience. I am going to purchase my own tank and tell Irving to come and get theirs. I won't deal with a company who has people in the office who have no idea about field conditions and what needs to be addressed versus what can be postponed and I have no patience for being simply placed at the back of the line.

Listen the reviews. This company is the worst! I regret changing to them. They are expensive, they cancel their appointments constantly saying due to emergencies, and they do not have enough staff. I didn't think it could get worse than Rymes, was I wrong. It has taken me over 5 months to get a 30 ft gas line installed, they have canceled my appointment three times, and it's still not installed. And, more importantly, they don't care. DON'T DO IT!

Made appointment for service on my propane heater and no one showed up. No phone call stating they were running late or wouldn’t make the appointment! Poor customer service! Lack of consideration & professionalism as People take days off work & rearrange their schedules for these appointments only to have a no show!!

Been a customer for over 10 years, never had to wait on the phone to schedule a delivery for so long. The first round of waiting on the phone they hung up on me after 10 minutes, the second time same day I finally got a hold of someone and she said that the oils would be delivered on Friday the 11th. Saturday my husband and I realized no oil was delivered. So I called again and the automated system said customer service was open but wasn’t..... so I had to wait on the line and used the emergency line to speak with someone who tells me they see the order but nothing done with it. He says someone will call me on Monday. I waited until 3:30pm and no phone call. So I sit on hold AGAIN for 15 minutes to find out they put me on the schedule for this Friday. But that will only happen if there are enough people in your area (I learned that Saturday). So I told them to cancel the delivery and their customer service has gone down hill.
