I could not believe the poor quality and messy items in the store. It used to be a nice store. The reality is since they're selling everything on e-commerce the stores are going down down down. Pretty soon they'll be closing and just doing online sales. But are people really going to want to donate to them? Whatever happened that it was supposed to be for poor people in the needy? I will only donate from now on to Salvation Army as they give back to our own community. The corporate people make millions per year. It's very disgusting

Very overpriced now, the children's department used to be $2 an item, now everything is around $5. Cat and Jack t-shirts marked $5 which is crazy, you can buy them new for $4.

Long lines. The only clerk on duty called out for backup since the line was long and no one woke up until everyone was cared for by the lone cashier. The people working there are really nice and courteous. Maybe just having an off day.

Me and my family stopped by the donation center to drop off items from my mother that just passed. There was a guy with the beard at the drop off point that was hassling us and yelling at us that we were not putting items in the right bins. I told him it's not my fault that I dont know and are doing your job sorting items out. He kept yelling at us and I told him I don't like your attitude and that my mom just passed. I'm just here to drop off some stuff. He said you can take your shit and bring it somewhere else. Very rude person. It took everything I had to keep calm. Someone like that should NOT be in a role to interact with customers.

Very poor customer service. Unprofessional. Over priced merchandise. I shopped here a couple times a month for almost 2 years doing the fill-a-bag option. Even after they increased the price by 50% because of "inflation" for their donated products and wages for their employees remaining minimum wage. I was accused of placing the wrong color tag into the bags by management and was put on display to the other employees and customers. I was labeled a criminal and felt profiled. I purposely waited to fill the bags so the cashier could see that i was not doing that. I understand the policy. When i confronted management about their unprofessionalism i was immediately asked to leave and threated with police. No discussion happened. I had not raised my voice or used unpleasant language. She did not want to be called out on her rudeness and poor customer service.Donate to a non-profit. This company is greedy and rude to its loyal customers.

I have always loved visiting the Derry and Hudson stores, especially the $1 a lb store in Hudson. I was sad to see Derry closed. Since moving up near Concord. I have visited this store 3 times now. I just literally walk around the whole store and can not believe how awful, overpriced , empty , unkept this place is. It's like walking through an overpriced leftover yard sale. The price of clothes is insane . Either someone was taking and bought a $40 fake Coach purse, or they finally listened when I literally went over everything wrong with $10 flea market crap. Polaroid batteries ( is Polaroid even still around ?) $20 ... don't waste good money on Halloween items . $20 + go to Dollar Tree or Dollar General way way cheaper and exact quality. I don't understand how this is considered a charity store. It's definitely not high-end Newbury st or even NY ... this is Concord NH. Overpriced crap spread out everywhere, and the employees are not very customer service trained . They do dress like they shop there, which is not a compliment. Save time and money this place is awful!! There is also a funky garbage smell in the air and it's not just the crap they are trying to sell .

Goodwill provides a treasure trove of secondhand items, catering to various tastes and needs. The store's organization varies; some branches are neat and well-arranged, while others feel cluttered. Bargain hunters will delight in the affordable prices for clothing, furniture, books, and more. However, product quality can be hit or miss. Shopping at Goodwill requires patience and a keen eye. The thrill of discovering unique finds compensates for the lack of consistency. Donations to Goodwill support a noble cause, adding to the appeal. Overall, it's a mixed bag – a place where patient shoppers can unearth hidden gems amidst the chaos.

When we travel we always search out the local stores. This is by far the best laid out, cleanest and well organized Goodwill I have ever been in. Maybe it was just a fluke but the woman who was working the register was joyful and kind. She gave a compliment to every single person she came in contact with. This poor woman must have run from the register all the way to the back of the store to the bathroom no less than 15 times in the hour that we were there and she did it without a complaint. I even had left my cart at the end of an aisle while I was looking at something else, and she went past she looked at me and asked if this was a blessing or if it was mine? I had to laugh and told her it was mine. She truly made the experience lovely. Not only that, but I swear the clothes smelled nice! I don't know if they're spraying them with something or what, but this really was the best Goodwill I've been to.

I began shopping regularly at the goodwill with my grandmother when l was a child, my first experirnce being when l was 12 years old. Over the course of years she shared with me her reasons for choosing to shop there. They were many and varied. She liked that the products sold were priced to make them available to families of lesser means. She was also pleased that the money raised was used to help those in need in the local community . Goodwill was also providing meaningful employment for someone. ln my opinion goodwill has strayed from the values and mission my grandmother was once so happy to be a part of. A few years ago prices seemed to rise to the point of becoming marginally competitive with the well known giant corporation. When l first saw the "Donations not being accepted today" sign I knew that my conclusion was very likely correct. The inventory is free coming in the door, getting it out the door should not be hindered by the price being asked. If someone picks something up to examine it and sets it back down they have often done a calculation and decided that the price is too high. Goodwill should never be at a price that is too high. Keep the lights on, pay the staff, help families... Goodwill.

Not worth the trip anymore. After the remodel inventory decrease exponentially and prices increased. They often will divide up things like matching outfits, and sell each piece individually. They have little to no toy selection and often the nicer items are pulled from the floor to avoid selling during sales. They also have a section now that is set up like a show room, complete with massively overpriced used items. A lot of their inventory is made up of new items, which are typically not included in sales.
