Haven't played in almost 17 years and went in yesterday to pick out some new skates, I was impressed with the customer service and informing me of all the new age technology involved in skates and sticks! I found a pair that fit perfectly well thanks to the worker who helped me. They used the heat oven to custom mold my skates for me and the price wasn't bad at all. They had so much to browse, I'll definitely be back again!

First pair of skates in years. We were lucky to be helped by the owner. Gave us some good choices. Decently priced and pretty good selection. Definitely check them out for hockey gear.

Salesman was extremely aggressive. Salesman did not listen to me when I explained what I needed. He insisted I needed a certain stick assuming that's what I needed. When I explained the type of stick I was looking for he told me I was wrong and that it's not what I needed. After explaining why I needed the stick I described he then told me I was wrong again and that he needed to "educate" me. Extremely rude. Will never return to store or ever purchase anything from them.

We just had an awesome experience today getting new hockey skates for a growing ninth grader who was having a hard time finding a fit that was comfortable. Everyone in the store was super knowledgeable and patient and helped him try on several pairs in varying widths and fits until he found the exact right pair. Excellent customer service and just nice people! Highly Recommend!

This is the kind of shop we need to bring back. Local feel great customer service, ample selection of all the latest and greatest gear along with the varying price points of all the major brands. It reminds me of the type of hockey store I used to shop at 30+ years ago. Definitely worth stopping in for expert sales and service.

Horrible customer service. Visited a few months ago for some skates, employees were all just lounging watching golf on tv, didn’t give me a second thought. Lazily showed me some skates and pretty much pushed me out the door. Also for a “used sports store” the selection of used is terrible.

I bought used elbow pads for my daughter who was not available at time of purchase (12/9). I specifically asked the teenage employee who assisted me if I’d be able to bring them back before she used them if they didn’t fit. He said “as long as it’s within the next couple of days”. The elbow pads did not fit. I brought them back today (12/11) and asked to be able to trade them in for a different size. I paid $20 and was told that they’d give me a $10 trade in value for the elbow pads that I had in my car for not even two full days. I was told that I didn’t even get to take the $10. I HAD to use it in the store. We have three kids who play hockey. We have purchased a lot of equipment from this place throughout the years, both new and used. This is the last time we will give our money to them. I hope the $10 was worth losing 10 years of future sales times 3 kids. They used to be one of the only, and best, in town. There are plenty of other options, now. I urge anyone who doesn’t want to be nickel and dimed to look elsewhere.
