The boat launch is great but the scenery along this stretch of water isn't the best. For about two miles you pass a lot of run down houses. After that it opens up and is beautiful.

Boat launch on the river with ample parking. The hardest part is finding Island Rd since the sign is hidden in a tree and it looks like a driveway.
