Had a chicken pot pie today - it's been awhile. This pot pie was PERFECTION. The crust was crispy and flaky all the way thru and stayed that way. Chicken was tender and veggies were a good size, not overdone or pasty, and sauce was just the right amount. I could have eaten another. Mmmm!

So dry.....yes all natural... it seems...... but shepherds pie it is definitely NOT.....the meat texture was like a rehydrated beef paste...very chalky.....no sauce or gravy.....soooooo dry.....simple ingredients are okay to have but too MUCH corn and no flavor...the name doesn't match what's inside.....two bites and trash.....so disappointed....... For the cost I expected a bit more and the size was like a kids portion.......i'd like a refund.

i got the shepherd's pie and it was the worst I've ever had. it was 90% corn, the meat didnt have any gravy and looked like cat food. Also 0 cheese. These ingredients were nowhere near 'natural'.

I just tried your Shepherds Pie! I love it! It tastes great considering it's a frozen meal. No chewy cow corn or watery mashed potatoes or grizzly meat. I can pronounce all the ingredients lol Thanks you made my day, I didn't feel like cooking

dry, not much taste, too small, I tried all 5-frozen Shepherd's pies on the frozen food market, I will give 2-stars, there is better on the market, I have rated all from 5 frozen pies, is a 2-stars, it is OK but not great, too dry !! for a fast quick meal it is OK..

It's a frozen pot pie, great compared to the processed square meat soup pies in the freezer section for 98 cents. First frozen pot pie that I could tell was real ingredients. Only reason I'm writing this is I stumbled upon it and was embarrassed by the people who have nothing better to worry about than going "NO BEEF" "CHICKEN WAS DRY" like they're at a restaurant. It's not the end of the world people. It's excellent for the price and ingredients. Will continue to buy. Was actually astounded by the flavor of crust, the fact it wasn't soggy in a microwave and the lack of doughy bottom crust.

Turkey Shepard's pie delish. I used to cook all my meals but over the last 4 years I haven't cooked much and trying to find foods that are made with good ingredients and healthy I give Blake's 5 stars!

I tried Blake's All Natural Foods recently. It was tasty, but it's a very small dish. Buy at least 2. Also being a Shepherds Pie man all my life, we use to make it in the old country with peas, not corn.

Really small portion (mostly water), the gravy is not thick enough, a very small amount of chicken, the taste it's ok minus.

Blake's Shepherds Pie!!! The pro's and cons. I give them credit for some things. It's made from Beef raised without antibiotics, all natural ingredients, gluten free. However to me it is very small. Also this is made with corn, generally as I recall it was made with peas. I think there's actually more food content in various pot pies. Shepherds Pie originated somewhere between England, Ireland and Scotland a few hundred years ago. There are a few different versions of it. Some is made with lamb, some beef, and I've also heard pork. My family originated in England. The Shepherds Pie I had through the years was made with beef, peas and mashed potatoes on top. Simmer the beef, then warm the peas in hot water slightly, whipped mash potatoes on top, then bake. It's one of my all time favorite dishes. I've been known to get the iron skillet out once and awhile and put on a kitchen performance, LOL. Blake's was tasty, but small, non-filling.

I feel compelled to let the world these are THE BEST CHICKEN POT PIES!!!I cant believe the amount of disappointed customers, though they are 10x more likely to file complaints than positive reviews.Seriously though, this is so off base. To the point where the Blake's marketing team needs to follow up on these, Mary Callander might be messing with your reputation!

Don’t. Pot pie had huge chicken bone within. When I contacted Blake’s, the owner claimed that she wanted to “make (this) right.” She said that she would send me several coupons for my trouble. She sent me one. I am now not a customer of Blake’s.
