Ordered an item that website said was in stock. Box arrived with the wrong item. Checked the website and now it says out of stock. Still have to pay to return the wrong item. I guess they hoped I'd keep the wrong one.
Update - customer service made sure the correct item was shipped quickly and safely. Pleased to change the status to 5 stars!

I spent $100 on their "famous" hand dipped timer taper candles. I bought some for myself and some for my mom. My mom got hers and immediately used them. She noticed the timer feature was not working on over half of them. She figured it might be defective batteries. She changed them out 3 different times with no luck. I wait until late fall to put my candles in the windows.. However, I took mine and tried them as well. I had the same exact issue. The timers didnt work. The candles would stay on... The "flames" would dim down constantly. I reached out to the owner and was meant with a very rude and nasty attitude. She was very defensive saying sje has sold 1,000's of these and never had"one defective" one so was confused. She offered no solutions or apology. She sent me their "return policy" which says you have 3 days to send it back after you receive your package in the mail. We didnt even try them by that time! Plus they charged a 15% restocking fee and you pay the shipping. I told her I no longer had the candles. I reached out to PayPal for assistance and of course she said to send them back for a refund when she knew I no longer had them in my possession. For a small business I would say she has one of the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced.

Love this place! The furniture and home decor items are wonderful. Just make sure to plan enough time to visit every part of the store. There is always so much to see.

This store charges a 15 percent restocking fee if you return an item. If you order off their website and return the item for a refund they will charge you this fee regardless of the fact their return policy says a restocking fee will be charged in some situations. My item cost approx. $35 plus 9.95 flat rate shipping. I had to pay $10 to ship it back plus I purchased insurance to make it $13.10. On top of that another$5.25 restocking fee was deducted from my refund. They will not budge or listen to reason. It's not fair to order from another state and not personally see what you are buying , return it and be charged more fees. Don't buy from this store unless you are standing in it and are sure of your purchase.
