“I mainly come here for the tinned fish products and those Indian meals you microwave in bags. Also the Bob's Red Mill selection is unsurpassed. You can find a lot of quirky stuff here, which can be an adventure. What does this mysterious $2 energy drink taste like? Is canned octopus any good? These mysteries and more can be unlocked at OSJL. The checkout area can be cramped at busy times, but the store is generally well-staffed by friendly people.”

Some items were just average and not worth the price, I found that they could be purchased in better condition at Walmart for less money. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the Clearance section, where I snagged high-quality items at 75% off. If you're looking for home goods, especially sheets, this store offers good quality products at reasonable prices. I received excellent customer service.”
“I love DG! I can go there and grab all the essentials for a bargain price and use my weekly coupon to get $5 off when I spend $25 (which I always do!). Pet, cleaning, paper, food products; the list goes on! Gifts, cards, and gift cards! They even have some cute home decor! The Springfield store recently expanded and looks great. I like the staff, too, they are all so friendly!”

I did not go in for awhile because it was always unorganized but I went in recently and was excited to see that the store was clean, well organized and had all the items I went in looking for and things were easy to find. The manager even helped me a few times when I could not locate an item. Everyone is so helpful and always friendly. Great job!”

“I wouldn't call it a variety store. My husband would go for tools and supplies because the prices are so reasonable, and I always enjoyed shopping the kitchen items, school items, sunglasses and eye glasses, gifts, etc. It's over a 2-hr drive for us, so I'm not inclined to go very often anymore. I really wish they would bring back the "variety" stuff!”
