If no stars was an option, I would have used this. Be careful, they scammed us. We made a $1600 deposit on a custom piece of furniture, they never made it nor would they return the money. When we went to make our deposit by credit card, they said their cc machine was broken, and asked that we pay by check. They claim that they never received the check, so we paid by Venmo (Purchase Protection added) After more than 6 months of no progress on the furniture, we asked to cancel and the owner, Tom, said yes, but after 6 weeks, we never received the money. We sued them in Small Claims Court in NH and won the case on default (they never answered). We are now going to collect via the courts. By the way, Venmo's policy is that you need to make a claim within 6 months. Ours fell outside 6 months. Stay away, for your own sake. I am not going to let go of this on principle as scammers shouldn't get away with this. Shame on you Tom!

DO NOT do business with this company. They will constantly lie to you and after one year, I have not gotten my furniture nor will they give me my money back. Their continual lies went on and on and on. No idea how people like Amanda and others who work there can sleep at night knowing they are outright lying to you.I was told repeatedly that the owner Tom would call me. He never has. The better business bureau contacted them trying to get my furniture or $950 back. Bingham didn’t even respond to them. I am now working with a lawyer to try to recoup some of the money.
TERRIBLE THAT THEIR BUSINESS HASNT BEEN SHUT DOWN FOR THEFT. TOTAL SCAM.TERRIBLE DISHONEST PEOPLE. STAY AWAY!

Frustrating but pulled through.
If you read through the other negative reviews you'll notice a trend: orders taking significantly longer than anticipated, false promises.
I was reluctant to order from Bingham with the negative reviews, however, I had a great experience with the sales team and they are one of few companies to offer reclaimed maple. I was originally told that the order would take 6-8 weeks. After not hearing anything for 9 weeks I started calling and asking for an update. Over the next six weeks I was told that they didn't have enough quality material twice and three times promised a target date that they did not meet. It eventually took 15 weeks.
As I said in the beginning it was a frustrating experience, but in the end I got the quality material that I paid for and am very pleased with the result.

We ordered reclaimed wood flooring. It took us much longer than they told us it would, and then they only gave us half the wood. We got the other half months later and it looked completely different, much too clean looking for reclaimed wood, so now we have mismatched flooring. Also, despite paying for a poly finish, we had to poly it again after installation.
As many other reviewers have noted, the promises around delivery dates and times were lies. Bizarre ones at that. We genuinely could not figure out why we were being lied to. After many frustrating days waiting around for nonexistent delivery trucks, we ended up renting a U-Haul and picking up the wood ourselves both times.
Please avoid this company.

They scheduled a delivery for different days and did not show up. Did not call when I called. They said sorry we’re gonna have to schedule a delivery for tomorrow. I had guys waiting on my clock for over three hours each day.

Beware! I paid for expensive wood and was sold their cheapest wood. They charged my credit card and would never refund the $6,000 overpay. They were also very late on date wood was ready. They lied for over a month, saying check was issued to pay me back. The cheap wood dents, is all knots, and does not hold up. I ordered a Southern Heartwood reclaimed pine and was sold eastern pine which continues to shrink. The wood comes wrapped in plastic. I was sent a sample of the correct wood. In the picture you will see the yellow original wood I was trying to match and the white wood they sent. A nightmare company.

Where do I begin….if I could give zero stars I would. Ordered over 18,000 dollars worth of flooring, picked it up & upon installation noticed we were short about 15 percent. Acted like it was our fault, and btw, my husband is a contractor himself, it was measured correctly. After numerous phone calls, and very rude women at the front desk we were finally told to come in and pick it up. When we got there, the two men out back couldn’t find it, no clue, had to call Tom but he’s not answering either, again. After a few weeks, and playing phone tag with Tom, they sent a guy here to drop it off. He was definitely put out and very rude as well. Long story short, run far away from this business, you’ll be glad you did.

I wish I had read reviews before ordering from this company. I preferred a custom table and chairs at the beginning of July and put down a 50% deposit. I was told the table and chairs would be delivered between October 10-17. Needless to say, it wasn’t. I finally received the table the week AFTER Thanksgiving, so I didn’t have a table for the holiday. I still don’t have chairs. Amanda says she does not have anything to do with chairs. Tim won’t return my calls. The people who answer the phone always claim a lack of knowledge about furniture. It’s been an incredibly frustrating experience. I gave three stars because the table is very pretty - though I don’t have any chairs so I can’t use it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!If only I had read the terrible reviews of the company I NEVER would have used them. I have never seen such lying and avoiding as Tom the owner has done.We ordered a custom wood island top and put down a $2,000 deposit. It is now 2 months over due and we still don’t have it!! We have asked for pictures of the top once they sourced the wood, and still haven’t received any photos. We have asked on 8 separate occasions and Tom literally kept lying and saying he would send them by days end, he never send anything!The front desk is conditioned to lie for him as well.Such an awful experience. My wife and I are heartbroken and are considering taking Tom to court. I see others have done so in these reviews so that may be our last option.Long story short, stay away from Bingham Lumber in Brookline and the owner Tom! Nothing but lies lies lies.I am calling the BBB and also the attorney general’s office to lodge complaints.I will update this post if we ever do finally receive our island top and let you know how that goes.

Woman was rude on the phone. I had to ask 3 to confirm a measurement before driving an hour. Thankfully I stood my ground because the boards they had in stuck didn’t fit my need. Don’t even bother calling if you need information

I hope by writing this review it can at least help someone avoid the pain and loss that I had to go through. While we were originally impressed by the showroom and meeting Tom Bingham and decided to do business with them on flooring, Fir ceilings, shiplap walls and barn wood for a new home build, when it actually came time to get the products that is where the troubles started. Wrong material delivered, broken promises over and over again on deliveries, making it right, etc. Weeks turned into months. Finally decided to cancel the flooring and ceiling portion of order and requested money back. At first tried saying it was non-refundable, despite none of the paperwork saying that. Then full acknowledgement of owing the money, but weeks of promises of a refund that never came. Finally sued in small claims court. Won easily, but still nothing paid back and that was over a year ago. Waiting on the courts to give court date for payment plan. Over $8k+ of money he is keeping from my family. RUN, don't be lulled into the trap of thinking this is a reputable business.
